Everything was good, the sides were great. I ordered two burgers (lunch and dinner) the FYE Junt (vegan hot burger) was my favorite, but what really impressed me were the sides. The Vegan Mac n cheese (which is hard to pull off) was cheezy with a great consistency, the Sautéed Spinach was perfect and the Baked Beans were everything I hoped they would be.

So glad we stopped on our way traveling through Memphis. The burger hit a home run, with excellent sauces and cooked with a smoky grilled taste. Got a side of Mac and cheese, it was creamy and “cheesy.” 5 star experience.

Phenomenal Vegan Food - Edit
I have eaten vegan food all over the world and can say that this was some of the most tastiest vegan food to date! I had a beyond burger that was cooked to perfection with a lovely hickory taste. The Mac and Cheese was also delicious ! As were the greens and cauliflower. And the owner, RJ, is so lovely and personable. Can't wait to come back to Memphis to eat more of this food!

I am so glad we took a car out here. This food is incredible. These might be the best “wings” I have ever had. They’re perfectly flavored and seasoned with an authentic southern (but not spicy) spice blend. It tastes like KFC. They also have spicy wings on the menu if you’re into that. The Jackfruit BBQ sandwich has the perfect flavor profile for Memphis BBQ. The chicken sandwich was delicious. Light crispy chicken patty w pickles and mayo. I added ranch, which was next level.

The cole slaw is the chef’s mother’s recipe and it’s brilliant. So so so good. I got seconds.

I don't like to show off, but I am a connoisseur of vegan mac & cheese. In fact I was a judge in North Carolina for an annual vegan mac & cheese contest! So that being said, this place serves the greatest, most delicious and absolute perfect mac & cheese I've ever eaten. Anywhere. Ever. And that's all I need to say.

I’ve been following this place on social media anticipating the day I could try it out. There were so many good options I couldn’t decide what to order but settled in the “fish” basket and bratwurst with onions and peppers.
Read moreThe food took about 20 minutes which was less time than I expected. The bratwurst was very tasty but loaded so the bun didn’t hold up well and it ended up being very sloppy. Also the onions and peppers didn’t add much with so save your $2.
The katfish basket was a tad disappointing. The mushrooms were fried way too long and the batter seemed to be the only seasoning. In Nashville fish is typically served with white bread, onions, and mustard so that was also missing for me. I do think with a few adjustments and some vegan tarter like sauce, it could be a very tasty selection. The fries and vegan ranch were excellent.
All in all if Happy Cow allowed, I’d give this place 3.5 stars. I am actually looking forward to going back to try the burgers and vings.

Everything is vegan, flavorful and absolutely delocious!! Almost everything is made in house (except a beyond meat patty option). The corn dogs are fantastic.. the best I've ever had in my life! I also like the Pecan Meat Philly, BBQ Jackfruit and the Memphis Bella.
Read moreThey're usually pretty busy around lunch/dinner time, so I recommend going early. They try to be quick but keep in mind they have a small kitchen & everything is cooked fresh. If you have to wait just be patient.. it's well worth it.
The owner RJ is super friendly, kind and very passionate about food.
They also have t-shirts for sale.. if you don't see them just ask.

The food here is amazing! I had the PBH Chicken with BBQ, sweet potato tots, and lemon cake, and they were all wonderful. The people working here are just as fabulous as the food. Keep in mind that there are only a couple of folk working, and everything is made from scratch, so you are going to have a bit of a wait to get your meal, but I promise it will be worth it. I can’t wait for my next trip to Memphis!

Amazing comfort food. Best wings I’ve had yet, hands down. The flavors are spectacular, and when they say “heat”, they mean it!! The taco Mac bowl was delicious. The Fye Junt and wings hit that greasy craving. The baked beans were the best we’ve had yet in the city, even compared to some of the big barbecue spots around here! Can’t wait to come back.

Everything we got was saucy and flavorful - the cookout burger and taco mac. We thought we were ordering from the downtown location but ended up having to drive 15 minutes and arrived after closing but the owner was so nice. Everything is cooked to order. Delicious

A must visit when in Memphis. Do not snooze on the sides and be sure to get Mac and Cheese and the Coleslaw. I also had the BBQ Jackfruit and it was absolutely excellent. So many other menu items left to try.

Fabulous, low key, dive spot dining experience!! I went out of my normal work lunch criteria to have some vegan comfort food and man I am glad I did. Extremely friendly staff! Thanks, Paige!
