Cosy cafe - Edit
We enjoyed our flat white, chai latte and carrot cake. The chai latte was actually loose leaf tea, which seems to be rare in Berlin. They have a community feel in the space as they host numerous workshops. I am looking forward to joining the vegan book club this month!

Favourite place in Berlin! - Edit
I'm not sure where to start. The place has everything. Great owners, great events, great food. The only thing there that's not great is... nope, can't think of anything. I highly recommend the book club and kimchi workshop.

This is easily my favourite place to eat in Berlin. The cafe owners/workers are wonderful and the food is amazing. I strongly recommend the plate for 1 or 2, there’s nothing disappointing on it and the flat whites here are fantastic.
Read moreThey also have an adorable dog who sometimes wanders around amongst the customers.
Regular events and workshops are also held here, while I’ve yet to attend a workshop I intend to soon, the events I’ve been to have been a lot of fun.

Came all the way from Tel Aviv to enjoy this place and my expectations were much exceed! The place is very cozy, warm and well designed. Everything in this place is well thought to the very last detail. Its incredibly clean and organized. The food is absolutely amazing. The place is not only 100% Vegan but with an agenda of saving the planet which makes this place even more special. Recommended with all my heart and cant wait to visit again!

Really delicious brunch in a cosy setting! - Edit
We went there for brunch and had the most astonishing vegan croissant ever before treating ourselves with a fabulous breakfast platter for two. Not only was everything arranged beautifully, the selection of homemade (!) food was exceptional as well - carrot lox, a vegan „obazda“, eggless salad, feto (fermented tofu), kimchi, tofu scramble, granola and fruit. Also, the setting was really calm and cosy. Staff was very friendly and helpful, too! Can’t recommend highly enough.

Most Delicious Vegan Cheesecake Ever!!!! - Edit
This is a true haven for the cake and food lovers vegan or not. The atmosphere is relaxed but with big dollop from the staff who are always happy to talk food with aa smile that will brighten your whole day! Coffee is top marks: rich, full of flavour and masterfully made by the top barristers in residence.

Guilty free pleasure, take the vegan cheese cake for example, creamy yet with the perfect acidity that makes the perfect cheesecake with crumbly biscuit base that is a pleasure to eat on it's own right. This an uncomplicated vegan place full of integrity where you are made to feel welcome at all times and you can relax to catch up with friends or emails alike, very different to other stuffier cafes in the area; basically an oasis for comfort seeking city dwellers. I am yet to discover the other savoury delicacies t Plant Based, but if you like cakes and love all things vegan this is a Berlin Must!!!
Pros: extremely nice staff!! Best cakes and coffees in t

Popped in for breakfast on a rainy Wednesday morning.
Read morePlant Base is in a fairly convenient and easy to find location. It’s a bright, airy and spacious place with plenty of comfortable seating.
Service is prompt, helpful and friendly.
I had a hummus bagel with tofu scramble on the side plus a green smoothie. All very tasty and very enjoyable. €15 in total, so fairly good value for money because the food is well presented and fresh.
This was my first visit and I will definitely be back next time I’m in Berlin. Certainly one of the better all vegan cafes in Berlin for breakfast or lunch.

Nice staff and decent kimchi! - Edit
I went too late to order any food, but I got to buy some yummy house made kimchi (not the super old - super sour stuff you get in a pre-packaged bag or tiny jar at most Asian stores in Berlin), just reasonably aged and tasty for 6.00 EUR for a small jar (200g?) and more for
