Nice little cafe in the back of the health food shop. You get quite a lot for your money here. Very popular place, so it gets busy at lunchtime.

Read moreThe staff were really helpful and knowledgeable about vegan food. As the place is vegetarian, I was worried about cheeses being mixed up. The staff though knew the difference between vegan and non vegan cheese, offering different options that they had in store.
My salad was the best option we picked. It had pesto, roasted nuts, violife cheese and salad. My partner got the salad of the day which we both didn’t love - purely because it had fruit in it and we didn’t realise.
The vegan feta though was really good and worked well with my salad!
The shop at Plano D is filled with lots of interesting vegan products such as chocolates, different flavoured tofu like Black Forest and drinks.

I had a vegan ham and cheese toastie and a coffee with oat milk. Was very affordable. It wasn't that clear from the menu what was vegan or not. I suppose I could have asked but it's easier when things are clearly marked.

Weekday meals and small shop - Edit
Groceries on ground level and downstairs. Lots of gluten-free items. Some bulk bins of nuts, legumes, etc. (Looks like a food prep area downstairs also.) The eatery on ground level is only Monday-Friday; no food on weekends/holidays. There are breakfast bowls and a dish-of-the-day for EUR 7,50; also a juice-of-the-day. All of the desserts at the eatery were GF, but none were vegan. The lunch I had was veganized by using grated vegan cheese on top. Covered seating outside and a few stools inside. Busy at lunchtime.

I have walked in and asked about vegan options for lunch. They were very helpful and considerate about my intolerances. I’ve had the soup of the day, which was delicious, and I’ve had a toast which could be veganized (vegan cheese) and they even had a glutenfree option for bread. It was overall a great lunch!
