Offers smoothies, vegan and gluten-free parfaits, avocado toast and daily soup is always vegan and mostly gluten-free. Lots of vegan and gluten-free pastry options. Also serves house-made vegan affogato and ice cream. Sources as much local organic produce as possible and squeezes own juices. Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-2:00pm.

In rural Sonoma County, finding a vegetarian coffee shop is a rare and appreciated gem! The vibe is great here and it’s clearly popular. They have smoothies, pastries, and all the assortment of coffee drinks you’d expect. However despite being vegetarian, it’s disappointing they aren’t more accommodating to vegans. I decided to deduct 1 star as they charge extra for non-dairy milk. And another star was deducted for not offering vegan schmear for the bagels, which would be fairly easy and would allow for so many more vegan options (hello Miyoko’s is from Sonoma!).

Lots of great choices! - Edit
We came here for breakfast three days in a row, and I had something different each time. The food is fresh, well seasoned, and delicious. Lots of greens and avocadoes. My only sadness was that they have discontinued the veggie/tofu burrito which was one of my previous favorites.

Great coffee/tea and breakfast options - Edit
Very well made coffee and good tea options (great to see oolong on the menu). The food items on the menu are clearly labeled as vegan and the staff are well informed. I've had the veggie burrito, chia parfait, avocado toast, and probably others across multiple trips passing through Healdsburg and all hit the spot. Recommended!

Just had a great veggie burrito at Planks. I ate it so fast I didn't even think of asking if they had any salsa. I did see some Sriracha at the condiment station when I was done and bussing my tray/trash. New menu items which look good include meatless meatball sub, Molly's toast, and cheesy toast. Delicious food, so many vegan options. I’ve tried almost everything and I’ve enjoyed it all but most recently I got the vegan BLAT sandwich (tempeh bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato) and it’s my new favorite! I’m also a fan of their vegan cakes and pastries. Admittedly, they are a bit expensive (probably because they use local and high quality ingredients) and I can’t afford to go as often as I wish I could but it’s a great treat when I can. Overall I love this place because of their awesome selection of vegan food but they also serve good drinks and the cafe in Healdsburg is cute and comfortable. I can’t wait until we’re able to hangout inside in the future, post COVID. Thanks for being amazing Plank!

We enjoyed our stopover here coming from Mendocino. Thanks to this app, we had good coffee, delicious orange cake, soup and juice. Friendly service, nice interior, good vibe and lots of vegan options.
