Had some sushi and gyoza. Vegan options are clearly labeled, and the staff was friendly!

Great spot for a quick and easy meal. The service was quick and friendly. Inside was tidy and they were playing good music. If I had more time in town, I’d definitely return here. There isn’t a large amount of vegan options but I never expect that from a sushi spot. The veggie bowl was tasty and I even got some maki rolls for take-away.

Good food but could be more veg-friendly - Edit
I had lunch her and the food was good but I was disappointed that they didn’t offer the lunch special in a veggie option. So I ended up with less food for more money than I would have if I was a meat eater. It would be so easy to offer the special with their veg options.

I enjoy a visit to planet sushi at least once a month.
Read moreThe avocado rolls are still my favourite, now its winter their hot food options for vegetarians and now vegans have expanded.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable on ingredients and what is suitable for different diets, including wheat-free, vegan and vegetarian.
Their website also shows all their offerings with keys for each dish if you wish to look ahead and their app also allows you to order ahead of your visit.
All in all, I am impressed with my local Planet Sushi and the one in Cannes which I have also visited.
Pros: knowledgeable staff, tasty dishes, vegan options are increasing
