Amazing! - Edit
I loved it! We found them at the Leith market. It was the best thing we had all week. There were many different flavors that went perfectly together and complemented each other. Perfectly cooked and friendly staff

Something in the Air tonight - Edit
Couldn’t believe my luck when I finally got to try Planet G! I was heading to see Air at Fringe by the Sea and, while searching for vegan options, discovered this gem — the one vegan food truck on site.
Read moreI went for the Italian kebab and a side of polenta fries. The kebab was packed with flavour and seriously saucy — so much so, some of it ended up in my shorts. Totally worth it. The polenta fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy inside — spot on.
Air were playing Moon Safari and it was an incredible gig — great food, great music, great night.
Pros: Food, People , 100%

Hi there! Our profile says “Various locations” because we don’t have a fixed spot yet. We pop up at events, markets, weddings, and do catering too.
Read moreSorry you couldn’t find us! If you don’t mind sharing where you saw the address, that would really help us fix it.

We’ll be at Leith Market on July 19th—come by and try our food! Then you can give us a proper review 😉

Fantastic catering for our anniversary party - Edit
Marta and the team did a fantastic job catering for our recent anniversary party; a hot buffet for about 120 folk. The food was delicious and service fantastic. We have had nothing but brilliant feedback from the guests (mostly meat eaters with some vegetarians and vegans) about how lovely the food was. Communication from our initial enquiry up to and including the event was always clear. I would highly recommend.

Best vegan food truck - Edit
Had the polenta fries and a haggis shawarma and honestly I think the shawarma was the best thing I've ever eaten. So fresh, so delicious, perfect mix of sauces and vegetables in the softest bun. The polenta chips were also out of this world, the secret sauce should be patented. They were so good we went back after 3 hours to get more!

Great food friendly staff - Edit
I had the truffle gnocchi and my partner the haggis burger with potatoes. The potatoes deserve a mention on their own because they were spectacular! The burger was nice and the gnocchi were really luxurious.
Read moreI found the food to be quite salty, but I don't consume much of it so it might just be my taste buds not used to it. Overall a great experience, can't wait to try their BBQ burger.
Pros: Great portions, Reasonable prices

Undecided - Edit
Went to the food truck at Edinburgh Street Food. I had the mushroom & truffle loaded baguette and my partner had the all-day breakfast pancake stack. Everything was very tasty. The food came fast and the staff were very nice.
Read moreEdit update: went to the Burns Night pop up Jan 2024 and it was very uncomfortable and awkward as a graphic and disgusting "poem / recipe" was read for a meat haggis. Completely inappropriate for a vegan night. There was no apology or acknowledgement at all. Food was ok. The rebranding situation has been strange as they seem to now be on the third name. Rating down to a 3 from a 5. Holding out further judgement to see what they do next!

Hello catancupcake.
Read moreFirst of all, thank you for supporting us these two times.
I'm sorry you felt uncomfortable with one of the readings at the open mic. My mind was at 1000 different things, but you are right that it wasn't the best reading, although being an open mic, we couldn't control what people were reading, and I didn't think to apologise about the event until now that you mentioned it.
Yes, we are now Planet G. It was a very difficult decision to change the name (once, we just had two names😉 and have to rebrand, I really hope you'll give us another try because we really care about the whole experience and put a lot of effort in our food.
