Best vegan food truck

Had the polenta fries and a haggis shawarma and honestly I think the shawarma was the best thing I've ever eaten. So fresh, so delicious, perfect mix of sauces and vegetables in the softest bun. The polenta chips were also out of this world, the secret sauce should be patented. They were so good we went back after 3 hours to get more!

One of the best vegan food trucks about!

Great food friendly staff

I had the truffle gnocchi and my partner the haggis burger with potatoes. The potatoes deserve a mention on their own because they were spectacular! The burger was nice and the gnocchi were really luxurious.
I found the food to be quite salty, but I don't consume much of it so it might just be my taste buds not used to it. Overall a great experience, can't wait to try their BBQ burger.

Pros: Great portions, Reasonable prices

Undecided

Went to the food truck at Edinburgh Street Food. I had the mushroom & truffle loaded baguette and my partner had the all-day breakfast pancake stack. Everything was very tasty. The food came fast and the staff were very nice.

Edit update: went to the Burns Night pop up Jan 2024 and it was very uncomfortable and awkward as a graphic and disgusting "poem / recipe" was read for a meat haggis. Completely inappropriate for a vegan night. There was no apology or acknowledgement at all. Food was ok. The rebranding situation has been strange as they seem to now be on the third name. Rating down to a 3 from a 5. Holding out further judgement to see what they do next!

Hello catancupcake.
First of all, thank you for supporting us these two times.
I'm sorry you felt uncomfortable with one of the readings at the open mic. My mind was at 1000 different things, but you are right that it wasn't the best reading, although being an open mic, we couldn't control what people were reading, and I didn't think to apologise about the event until now that you mentioned it.

Yes, we are now Planet G. It was a very difficult decision to change the name (once, we just had two names😉 and have to rebrand, I really hope you'll give us another try because we really care about the whole experience and put a lot of effort in our food.
