Great location

Planet 72 is situated right in the thick of the tourist action, directly opposite the river where you can watch the boats go up and down while you enjoy your ice cream.

They have a lot of flavours with 4 cabinets filled with tubs, and one whole cabinet that is vegan. However, this is mostly sorbets, and so not being a sorbet fan, I was relieved to find 4 creamy ice creams. They had salted caramel, chocolate, raspberry ripple and vanilla.

I had salted caramel and it was nice and creamy. The cones are vegan but you can also have it in a tub. I paid $7 for a single which was a scoop and a half.

Pros: watch the river while you eat your ice cream, staff know what vegan means, some creamy flavours

I was very surprised to see so many choices here, although when I visit (I live in Noosa) I still only get the salted caramel icecream which is very enjoyable! Highly recommend!

Great selection

There is a great selection of coconut based vegan ice creams as well as sorbets. Great service as well.
