Saved our first day - Edit
Pleasant amount of options. I asked for the Gnocchi to be veganized, no problem. Instead of the Pesto I had the most flavorful tomato sauce I think I ever had. My partner took the Chili which is vegan from the beginning. Both absolutely delicious.

When we got offered bread with garlic BUTTER she recognized immediately and offered with olive oil. Would recommend the bread for the time of preparation.

Good food, great restaurant owners - Edit
For a restaurant in Madeira good vegan food. I enjoyed the curry. Saidly they do not have a vegan dessert.

Friendly vegan-aware service, great food - Edit
My vegetarian boyfriend ordered bread as a side that comes with garlic butter (dairy) and the attentive waitress asked if she should bring garlic-infused olive oil instead so that we can share, because I ordered the vegan chili with rice.

Best spot after hiking - Edit
After coming down from hiking, this Restaurant is a surprising gem. A few vegetarian/vegan options and very nice owners. Only the fajitas couldn't be veganised.

Delicious food and big portions - Edit
Very nice staff, food is delicious, portions are big. I am vegetarian, but there are also vegan options. Caco bread as a starter, chickpea and sweet potato curry as a main dish. Good choice in Madeira.

Best food on Madeira. Super friendly owners. - Edit
We absolutely loved Planalto. The vegetarian Fajita, Bolo do Caco and Poncha were amazing. And the owners are so super friendly and welcoming. The owner told us a lot about original Madeiran food and the way they make it. 5/5, just not possible here because they also have non-veggie food on the menu.
