Very nice pizza place with a fare share of (huge!) vegan pizzas. The flavors are all really good and all have vegan cheese on them, plus they don't charge extra for it! (many places I've been to do charge extra for vegan cheese). The vegan options are clearly noted on the menu and they also serve some vegan ice cream flavors. The staff was very nice and the place was chill with lots of room and some outdoor seating too. Would recommend going here if you're in town!

Read moreThe person who took our orders was extremely nice and welcoming and knowledgeable about happy cow and veganism. They had 7 vegan pizzas (really 6, one of them is just one of the former 6 but with chili peppers) and we tried 4 since you can ask for halves of the pizza to be a different type. Seitán, romescu, falafel, sunflower seeds (didn't expect them to be this good on pizza!) with crispy, chewy, deliciously charred dough and melty, stringy vegan cheese... AND AT THE SAME PRIZE THAN NON VEGAN PIZZA!
Really my only gripe is that I asked for no olives in my pizza since I heavily dislike them and they'll spoil my food and they took note but... We'll, you can see for yourself in the pics xd

SEVEN vegan pizzas, that's right, SEVEN. My boyfriend and I got two different ones. I got one with caramelized onions, Seitan and mustard, my boyfriend got one with mushrooms, caramelized onions and I can't remember what else (sorry). We both agreed mine was much better... The vegan cheese on his had a stronger, slightly overpowering flavour. Mine was sweet and delicious. Be prepared to go early-ish or have to wait because it's buuuuuusy. Also they have as many tables in there as humanly possible so you are squished in a little.

Restaurante que recomiendo a todo el mundo, sólo sirven pizzas pero no hechas en falta nada más... nos encanta a toda la familia, a mi hijo sobre todo la de seitan. Un trato estupendo, mi hijo es alérgico y cada vez que vamos no ponen pegas para hacer su pizza sola limpiando bien todo. Suele haber algún postre vegano y helados

Best pizza in Bilbao - Edit
I order pizza from Trozo every few months, it is seriously some of the best pizza ever. Nice thin crust, generous size, a good amount of vegan cheese. They have a full vegan menu section with 6 pizzas including one with seitan made in house. It's a little pricier than some other places but all the pizzas are the same price so you can personalize the toppings as much as you want. The restaurant itself has a nice easygoing vibe, but be careful on weekend nights because it gets packed and you have a queue to order.

Brilliant vegan pizza and beer! - Edit
First night in Bilbao and very happy with this place. Very popular with locals and tourists alike and easy to see why. My family all had non vegan pizzas which they said was very good but mine was exceptional one of the if not the best vegan pizza I’ve had. The pizzas are huge about 43cm from recollection and so sharing might be an option. The beer was also very good. You queue to order and the later it becomes the busier it becomes which is worth considering.

One of the best vegan pizzas I’ve had - Edit
We arrived quite late in Bilbao and were looking for places that were open and found this gem. I ordered the vegan pizza with seitan, my sister ordered another one (dont remember which one) and mine was one of the best pizzas i’ve ever had and hers was really good too. The pizzas were massive too, so i had some yummy leftovers for breakfast the nezt day. and they were kind of cheap if i remember correctly. The vegan cheese was amazing, didn’t taste rubbery like some vegan cheeses do, and mine had mustard on it, which i thought would be weird but it was great. The seitan was good too. My parents ordered meat pizzas and they also really enjoyed this place, so its great if you’re eating with omnis. The atmosphere was really cozy and it seemed like a lot of locals were there.

They have seven options. We ordered vegan no. 5 and 6. no. 6 was our favorite. I think one pizza is perfect for one person. The crust is really good. They use their hands a lot to make the pizzas and I don’t know if they wash their hands in between. I asked them to wash their hands before making our pizzas, and he asked us why instead of being willing to be cautious of cross contamination.

A destacar la masa fina que tienen las pizzas, está riquísima. Probamos dos pizzas de las seis veganas que tienen y encantados con la elección, el queso vegano estaba muy rico. Relación calidad-precio buena, un sitio que acabamos de descubrir en Bilbao y que repetiremos seguro.

There are vegan & non vegan pizzas. They are very big but delicious. Awesome staff, very nice, friendly & helpful ! The pizza was really divine. My mom (who eats meat) said it was the best she had eaten since a long time !!! The (vegan) choice is wide and the (vegan) cheese extremely tasty. I also had a very good craft beer which is not that common in Spain. 10/10 would recommend.

What a great find this was! There are about 7 different vegan pizzas to choose from including some unusual ones like hummus and falafel! I wanted something a little less adventurous and the lovely owner is more than happy to substitute ingredients and adapt any of the set pizzas to suit. The pizzas are cooked in a proper wood oven and are perfect! Not to mention huge! We did have one each but were extremely hungry that day. The draft beer is delicious and cheap too. The pizzas aren't necessarily cheap (about E13 each) but they are big. if eating with young kids definitely get one between 2- my teenagers though had one each! It was a lovely relaxed cosy atmosphere- not fancy but warm and friendly. The lovely young couple who recently took over the restaurant were curious to know how we had found them. I explained Happy Cow and they were thrilled to know they were on here with a couple of good reviews- so here's another! Highly recommended!
