So many great vegan options, not too expensive for pizza with vegan cheese and plenty of other toppings. Every pizza I've had here was really tasty. I also love the garlic oil. It's strong and adds to that classic greasy fast food feeling but it's optional. The way they cut their pizza takes some getting used to in my opinion. 😄

Maybe I am not a pizza lover anymore since I am vegan. And that‘s 5 years now and I really looooved pizza before. But yes - anyways, my statement here. So many people told me about this amazing vegan pizza. So i tried both branches of Schlaflos and I can tell you, I am quiet dissappointed after all this big fuss. It‘s decent pizza but nothing special about it. I guess people love the fat dough. I will always prefer thin pizza I guess.
Read moreThe pizza hasn‘t much taste to me. Lacks flavour and excitment. Lacks quality in product. Tasteless tomatoes and tasteless rocket. But probably the same in most places who buy their ingredients at Rewe around the corner.
Makes me sad that people don‘t know the taste of real organic grown veggies anymore. Next time I ll go for some asian or indian dish again. They do use great herbs and spices.
So if you love regular fast food and you don‘t have too high expectations: come here, you‘ ll be happy.
Pros: Great that they are vegan friendly

A small pizza place, with the entire menu available in vegan as well with a very good vegan cheese! Perfect for take away to eat in the park near by :)

Sie haben jetzt eine neue Filiale, die komplett vegetarisch ist und viele Vegane Optionen wie früher haben! Die ist nur 100m von da! Diese Filiale hat meines Wissens dafür keinen veganen Käse mehr was ich schade finde. Dafür bin ich happy um das neue Restaurant!

This place definitely serves the best vegan pizza in Frankfurt. It's freshly made upon ordering and they use Bedda vegan cheese very generously. The garlic oil they add in the end makes it even better! Prices are also really reasonable and you can basically make every pizza vegan

Pizza schlaflos seems to be an in-spot for Frankfurts nightlife folks, as they are open until 5 in the morning and when we went there (about 10 pm), the owner (all alone) was already quiet stressed for baking a ton of pizzas within the last hours and all the vegan components like soy meats etc. I was curious to have on my pizza, were sold out.

After being kinda disappointed not being able to try it and the owner being uncomprehending why we didn’t order in advance (we aren’t locals, didn’t know about to order in a small eatery-bistro in advance, haha!), I decided to get a vegan pizza funghi and it was a super-tasty pizza (6,50€)!
I had tons of pizzas, and way worse for way more money!
They use bedda(?) cheese and even some details like garlic-oil and fresh basil on top.
We also had a nice chat with the owner, who explained that often they get collected orders for like 40 pizzas asap!
Really stressful, if he’s alone in the shop!
PREORDER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Read moreAuch sehr nettes Personal. Wir waren während Corona das erste Mal dort und sagten aus Unwissen nicht "vegan" dazu. Wir kannten nur die vegane Pizzakarte und wussten nicht, dass sie auch nicht-vegane Speisen führen.
Unsere Pizzas wurden ohne Umstand nochmal neu und vegan gemacht. Vielen Dank dafür nochmal!

Oh wait, that only works for vegetarian places? Too bad because this pizzeria definitely deserves all the stars I can give! The vegan pizzas are fantastic, the owners are friendly and the opening hours accommodate all the vegan owls who'd otherwise struggle to find dinner at 2 a.m.. All the people I've brought here loved it and even the omnivores who dared to order a vegan pizza were very happy with their choices. Really, the only downside is that they don't deliver and it's hard to find a parking spot. And if you don't like garlic as much as I do, you better tell them to take it easy with the garlic oil.

Absolutely delicious. Open late. Many vegan options for cheeses and meat. Large wine selection and lots of alcohol options. Individual sized pizzas, but fairly large and could be split between two people depending on hunger level. Small, intimate place. Very friendly owner. Does not speak a lot of English but very accommodating.

Location is in the neighborhood of Bornheim, just off Berger Straße. The spinach pizza I had was delicious, great dough, sauce and topping. Service was very friendly as well, so definitely a recommendation.

Wide range of vegan pizzas - Edit
The pizzeria has, thankfully, a separate vegan menu that features more than a dozen vegan pizzas. The pizza dough is made for these pizzas without egg and vegan cheese is used. The pizza is tasty and I especially recommend the "calzone". The operators of the pizzeria are always very friendly.
