Vegan pizza for 9E isn’t that bad in a seaside town. Nice dough, generous toppings. Got a take out and the veggies got margarita. Did the job.

Good pizza with vegan cheese - Edit
It is not that often that you would find vegan cheese on true italian pizza. But here they do. I created my own pizza with the things I like (cherry tomatoes, capers, mushrooms). It was amazing! I only forgot to add garlic. Wine was good to and pro waitress, what would you want more.

Skimpy portion of vegan cheese - Edit
I have been there twice to order the vegan pizza and added the €2 additional vegan cheese both times. The first time I was shocked to see how little cheese they put on the pizza. I informed the manager but was not offered anything; not even an apology. Second time I was there talked to the manager beforehand and told him about my experience the time before. He said he would talk to the cook, and wouldn’t you know it, it was the same as the first time or even a bit less. My partner’s pizza was covered in normal cheese. Why can’t they put the same amount of cheese on mine? After all, I did pay extra for the cheese right? I really wanted to like that place, but I will not be going back. #Veganuary

Sehr sehr gute Pizza, die vegane Variante kann man entweder ohne Käse oder mit veganem Käseersatz bestellen. 2€ Aufpreis für veganen Käse jedoch etwas teuer.

Overpriced average pizza - Edit
It has one vegan pizza that costs 9.50 but it is just tomato sauce with grilled veggies. You can pay 2 euro extra for vegan cheese.
Read moreThe pizza was not well presented, just randomly veggies thrown on there. It doesn't even mention which veggies so you better ask if you dislike olives for instance.

Average pizza, overrated - Edit
The Vegana pizza was okay but it wasn’t specified which vegetables they would put on there. Mine was completely full with olives which I don’t like. In case someone has an allergy this is not ideal. It was packed when we got there and he told us we had to wait 20 minutes for our pizza. In the end we waited 35-40 which is ridiculous. Expectations were not met.

Truffle Gluten Free Pizza, Enough Said - Edit
Pepe Verde has been evolving more and more with time. It's incredible how they can cater everybody's needs, not letting anyone aside: you have gluten free base, vegan cheese, vegan pizzas, normal pizzas, good salads, vegan starters, gluten free beer.
Read moreMy favourite is either the simpler Margherita (subs the cheese for truffle, thank me later) or the Milano (subs for vegan cheese), Portofino (taking the parmesan). And the gluten free dough is, in my opinion, better than the normal dough. It's not as filling and dense, and you can enjoy your pizza to the fullest :))

I tried the mushroom carpaccio without Parmesan cheese, it was good but lacked a bit more olive oil or lemon or seasoning.
