Proper pizza oven - Edit
We went for the pizza night and got 2 pizzas. The dough was amazing and perfectly charred on the crusts. I absolutely loved the pizza with tofu and vegan cheese, however I was disappointed by the mushroom pizza as it was lacking in flavour, so I would recommend to get a pizza with vegan cheese on it. Loved the vibe here as well, with a focus on sustainability.

Pizza Night! - Edit
Actually I got a calzone, which was quite delicious! Added mushrooms to tofu calzone, and my friend got the same as a pizza. Cool spot!

Cool place. Food…? - Edit
Well the 2 nights they’re known for were a let down.
Read morePizza night- pizzas were lame. And not cheap compared to other options around. The vegan pizza was not good. My friend got the vegetarian which I guess was better if you eat cheese but for$10 I’d rather go next door to El Pital.
“All you can eat buffet” - neither all you can eat nor a buffet. Good food still. I enjoyed it a lot, but you just get the one plate that they prepare for everyone. If it was labeled “set plate family style dinner night” then I’d give it 5stars but I don’t like the false advert.
Other food is kinda meh. ONLY because everything all around is 5star. Good area of the island for vegans.
Pros: Good atmosphere , Chill vibe, Mangos to collect
Cons: Food was meh, 2 event nights were lame. , No confortable chairs to hang out after eating.

Best vegan ravioli - Edit
I had the ravioli with siciliano pesto and Omg!!! So delicious. It was filled with pumpkin puree and on the top was pesto and vegan parnesan. Delicious and highly recommend!

So good we visited twice! - Edit
I came first for the vegan ravioli and the chickpea burger plate the following day.
Read moreThe vegan ravioli with pesto was one of the best pasta dishes I've had out here! My partner had the burger plate and that was also delicious although could have benefited from some sauce

Meh - Edit
The menu had so many options, but unfortunately, the food was very underwhelming.
Read moreI had vegan ravioli, which was chewy and quite bland. My friends had some rice dishes, which ended up being white rice with small ramekins of dips.
Overall, it was very disappointing

Most underwhelming meal in Nicaragua - Edit
Came here as we saw the sign on the road saying they had vegan options. My meal was very boring: ended up being plain rice, a bit of salad and a couple of sauces/ dips. My friend ordered the vegan ravioli which came with dairy cheese. He told them about their mistake and when he asked for a new one the only thing they offered to do was scrape the dairy cheese off! Go to El Pital down the road and have an amazing vegan meal: don’t bother with this place!

Awful vegan pizza - Edit
When there for pizza night. Waited one hour in line and two hours for pizza. I would have been fine with it but when the pizza came it was cold and the vegan cheese only had a little of it and was not good at all. Didn’t even finish the pizza

Nourishing, home grown produce - Edit
Amazing eco hostel, can't recommend staying here enough. On the property there's a restaurant open every day and there's a pizza area Tuesday and Saturday nights. On the property there's a permaculture farm which supplies the kitchens. I didn't enjoy the pizza I had but I had other nice, nourishing meals. Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu but make sure you always specify vegan when ordering. I got cheese on my dishes a couple of times and was pretty bummed with how this was handled - the staff just scraped the cheese off my ravioli for example... The kitchen does serve chicken which I found surprising for a vegetarian restaurant 😅 all in all, amazing hostel, alright but healthy and eco friendly food.
