Vegan pizzeria in Toronto since 2018. Makes several varieties of pizzas as well as with offering meatball subs and garlic knots. Added a M!lk gelato counter in summer of 2020, scooping vegan gelato to customers on the sidewalk from the restaurant’s front window. The gelato are made using oat, coconut, or rice milk as base. Reported closed October 2023.

Best pizza in Toronto! - Edit
We’ve ordered from here often. The bbq jackfruit pizza is RIDICULOUS. So good. The house made cheese is incredible. I’ve enjoyed everything we’ve ordered. Unfortunately we’ve occasionally had problems with the pizza being destroyed in transit (like stuck to the box that was held upside down), which isn’t the restaurant’s fault exactly but they use their own delivery service. Also have had things we’ve ordered not show up. So maybe more careful order packing is needed. Still, those don’t take away from the quality of the food.

My Favourite Pizzas in Toronto - Edit
Absolutely amazing, very friendly chef! We went to Osteria Du thinking it is Pizzeria Du, but they were nice enough to let us stay and order pizzas! So we got the dine in experience. So far, my favourite pizzas in Toronto.

Must try the Cesar salad - Edit
The Cesar salad was everything you’d miss about a traditional cesar salad. And the pizza was also just as amazing!

Best vegan pizza in Toronto - Edit
I actively crave their “pepperoni “ wood fired pizza. The crust and the san marzano pizza sauce are delicious.

The best vegan pizza! - Edit
We ordered the BBQ jackfruit pizza and it was amazing. We also tried the mango and tamarind gelato and it was delicious as well. We sat on the patio where there was a spacious setup which made social distancing easy.

Fantastic Pizza - Edit
I love Pizzeria Du. The Mediterranean pizza is absolutely brilliant. The Margherita is also delicious. You can tell they really care about the quality of the ingredients, being true to Italian cuisine. They also make fantastic gelato. I feel very fortunate to have them in my neighborhood.

Amazing VGF pizza - Edit
This is by far the best VGF pizza I have had! The crust is very pliable and not dry. You can even fold a slice in half, which would make my NY fiancé very happy. I got the Romana and Florence pizzas. Both were very good. The Caesar salad was tasty but for such a small portion seemed pricey at $9. Hazelnut Praline Gelato was good. Not sure I'd get Gelato again but was happy to try it and was decent.

Delicious Pizzas - Edit
Picked up three pizzas from here (Florence, Mediterranean and Canadian deluxe). Absolutely delicious! Florence is perfect for a pesto/mushroom lover and the seitan pepperoni on the deluxe was also fantastic. Garlic knots and panelle was also tasty.

Amazing vegan pizza - Edit
All their pizzas are spot on... the Florence is SO delicious, the Margarita is perfect, and the Mediterranean is also amazing. All the vegan cheeses are so so good... and so much more interesting and nutritious than Daiya!

The Real Deal - Edit
This place has mastered the craft of vegan pizzas and it hits the spot every time. The menu options are great, but I also love their pizza kits which allow you to make your own at home. All in all, a great option and good value. The gelato spot out front is great too!

Tasty pizza - Edit
All vegan pizzeria and gelateria. It is actually named « away kitchen café ». We ordered the Romana and Florence pizza. The prices are good and the ingredients and crusts were very fresh. Honestly we found the cheese pretty odd (the texture of hummus...) and the toppings quite weird too (ex: figs mixed with capers). The gelato were okay, extremely expensive for what it is, the texture was not creamy nor nice, especially not the pistachio one.
