Pizzeria Bellini

Bellini is a real Italian.You hardly find any Italians running a pizza joint these days. Bellini's place doesn't look like a lot from the outside but he's really kind, understands what vegans want, uses only vegan pizza dough that he makes himself (it's divine) and uses fresh ingredients. His credo is that the original italian pizza from Napoli doesn't even come with cheese. Thus the root of the dish is vegan by default. He does use vegan cheese if you want but I would even recommend to lose the cheese because his pizza is so delicious that you don't even need the convenience cheeze. His panuozzo (pizza dough with herbs) is a fluffy cloud of italian cuisine in your mouth and everything is fresh and tasty.
FINALLY a good pizza joint in our hood again.

The pizzeria doesn't look like much, but the food makes up for everything! Really crispy crust, good ingredients. The pizza is good with and without vegan cheese.

I highly recommend trying the panuozzo, a specialty from the region where the owner originally comes from, as he told us. It's a freshly baked delicious bread, that can be ordered with veggie fillings. The other day, we just tried the plain panuozzo and it was great as well.

I usually stick with a "normal" vegan pizza: Vegan cheese, some toppings, preferably fresh arugula.

The owner is really nice and told us about how he makes the dough and how he is trying out new vegan things.
