OK - Edit
Really lovely interior and atmosphere with how buzzing it is. We had to book a few weeks in advance to get a table on a Saturday night. We had some olives and cocktails to start. The pizza was just ok - Marinara is my favourite but there was a bit of confusion and they told me I actually wanted “tomato bread”. What came was essentially a marinara, but the crust was thinner and crispier than I was used to for Neapolitan pizza. There’s a vegan pasta that sounded nice, would try that instead next time.

Nice - Edit
Nice place for a meal out if you want to treat yourself. Very good food and a few vegan things on the menu.
Read moreHowever if you sit near the bar, you will observe the pizzas being created, at first you may like this! But then you might see the chefs (lads) go for toppings in drawers by their side. Felt sure I saw a bit of the wrong topping falling into/touching another topping. Always a hazard I suppose with a “vegan options” place
Cons: Bit pricey! Brace the bank card!

One of the best UK Italians I have been to. An extremely well organised and managed restaurant with a central open kitchen bordered by casual counter seating and more formal dining tables for couples and larger groups. I went for the salami pizza with vegan cheese without the salami. It was rich with tomato base, black olives and jalapeños. Absolutely delicious, especially after I drenched it with chilli olive oil. At £18 it was perhaps the most expensive pizza I’d ever had in my life, washed down with probably the most expensive glass of Primitivo outside London at £12.50 for 250ml. A quality meal in a top establishment. I’m already planning a return.

Needs 5 ⭐️ option! - Edit
I had the vegan pizza which was a beetroot pesto instead of the usual tomato and I’ve got to say this was probably the best vegan pizza I’ve had, it was amazing!

One of the best pizzas I’ve had, lots of toppings! Strange that there is no mention of vegan on the menu but was told we could just have what veg we wanted with vegan cheese. So we just said can we have veg mushrooms and olives and the vegan cheese was good. Also had green salad and garlic and rosemary roast potatoes which were delicious and huge portion!

Nothing on menu - Edit
Really disrespectful to not just put vegan options on the menu or at least refer to them somewhere

Incredible vegan pizza place - Edit
On the menu at first there appears to be no vegan options however you just ask to substitute for vegan cheese, meaning there are 2 vegan options for pizza. The vegan margarita and the vegan vegetable pizza. You can see them make the pizzas from scratch and then they cook it in a traditional pizza oven, which gives the pizza an incredible flavour. Service was very fast, however it is recommended to book in advance otherwise the staff will give you a time to be out of there by which made us feel rushed. Another thing to be aware of is that for 2 pizzas and a coke it came to £31, this had £5.25 of tax. If you don't like loud crowded dining then this isn't the place for you either.

Really good pizza but you pay for the quality - Edit
I saw Pizza West by the beach and got very excited to try it. I love plain tomato pie (no cheese) and their Simply Tomato had confit garlic and herbs so I was all in. Husband prefers vegan cheese and veg so he was happy to hear Pizza West can do vegan cheese (I don’t think we got charged extra for the vegan margherita). The hostess couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating explaining what they could do. I added mushroom and onion for a pound each. I think these are 12” pies and I don’t mind paying for good quality, but adding other toppings could start to add up. A vegan (or even veggie) combo or two would be welcome, and maybe a list of possible toppings too. That said both pizzas were so good, especially for me the tomato pie which was lush with all the sweet garlic cloves. Dracula will avoid me tonight 😁🦇
