Not the traditional pizza but great as f**k. - Edit

If you're from another country, the first thing to tell you is: don't expect a traditional pizza since 1) pizza in Argentina is very different from another places. 2) it's vegan and we don't have a good supplier for vegan cheeses here, so no cashew, soy, almond cheese.
The "cheese" is potato cheese, they make it very smooth so you won't say it's just "pureé".
The majority of the pizzas are always crispy, very tasty.
The toppings are all good and they're very flexible with requests, you can order and request:
- No potato cheese.
- No oils
- Without this, without that
- Can you add this?
- Or whatever it occurs to your mind.

I totally recommend these pizzas.

not traditional pizza, but delicious nevertheless! - Edit

As some of the other reviews have mentioned, whether you enjoy Pizza Vegana or not depends on how strictly you expect 'real' pizza. The potato-based cheese topping won't leave you saying "wait, that isn't mozzarella??!!" and the rice-flour crust isn't a stand-in for a thin-crust wheat pizza. However, as a unique take on pizza, I found the Indian and Bolognese versions quite delicious. My husband and I ordered one of each pizza, and the portion was enough for both of us to have dinner, leftovers for lunch, and a couple bonus 'snack slices'

Pity - Edit

By chance passed by and was excited to try out. Ordered 'pizza proteica', half : nutritional option -mix of seeds, half: 'life option': rúcula & tomato, some 'canastitas veganas', tradicional fainas, etc . We asked if "carne vegetal" option meant soya, which was confirmed, we asked organic or genetic modified, and he couldn't tell me ( fyi: 99% of argentinian soya is Monsanto based GMO, which for any vegan restaurant is NOT acceptable to use.) The food: As others commented, the queso de papa "Paparella", is simple potato puree ( no other non dairy cheese options), ALL pizzas, faina and canastitas veganas came HEAVILY burned at the base ( pitch black in color!), which made for a very disappointing experience as it basically felt like eating burned toast... Argentina is just opening up to be a bit more conscious about food which is truly encouraging, but when approached from a "trend" perspective, without true integrity/ awareness, it's geared unfortunately to fail, which is a pity.

Pros: vegan

Cons: lack of awareness / all burned / too much salt

Disappointing - Edit

I would love to put a positive review here, because helloooo: vegan pizza! But I wasn't so excited about the taste at all. The cheese tasted like potato puree smeared out over the crust, which was too chewy and hard... the vegetables were overcooked and rather tasteless. We bought 2 pizzas, but from both flavours I could hardly finish 1 piece. So unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

It's a take-out place, no restaurant.

Pros: Staff friendly

Cons: Pizzas are not tasty, No restaurant setting, just take-out, Pretty expensive

Not pizza, but delicious! - Edit

We ran into this place near our hostel on a long walk to a different vegan place and checked it out. It's not pizza but it's tasty and in the shape of pizza. The crust is made of rice and the "cheese" is more like mashed potatoes, but despite that sounding weird we both really liked it. We had two pizzas for two people and that was just a little bit too much food.

They seem to be opening lots of locations throughout the city so check out their website if you can't find anything on happycow, they might have opened a new location near you
