I was concerned it was dairy cheese! - Edit
I arrived late at a hotel in Virginia Beach and wanted to swim for a bit and then have something warm and substantial after a full day of travel. I ordered the small vegan pepperoni pizza and the cheez bread with marinara. Both were really good and ended up being 4.5 meals! (I actually had to double check my order because I’ve never had vegan cheez pizza that was so convincing.)

Pizza Twist is a great fast-casual dining experience. Whether you prefer the comfort of a sit-down meal with real plates and cutlery delivered right to your table, or the convenience of a quick to-go order, they have you covered. Plus, they provide easy to-go boxes for any delicious leftovers.
Menu and Labeling:
The menu makes choosing vegan (plant-based) options simple, with clear markings on all "pizza" selections. But the plant-based possibilities extend well beyond the pies! A review of their printed menu and a quick look online reveal more choices, like plant-based substitutes for traditional chicken wings. Pair those with the list of explicitly plant-based sauces, and you have a safe and tasty meal. When in doubt, a friendly staff member can confirm any customization to ensure your meal is exactly right.
Service:
Despite being a one-person powerhouse handling everything from walk-ins to online orders, the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. They were genuinely excited for us to sample their signature sauces, which were the highlight of the meal. While the solo operation means it’s not "fast food" speed, the quality and hospitality make it well worth the short wait.
Food:
I opted for the Plant-Based Manchurian Chicken Pizza, and at the server's suggestion, I tried a mix of both vegan chicken and their cauliflower sausage. The fusion of Indian flavors was spectacular; the cauliflower sausage, in particular, was the perfect vessel for the savory Manchurian sauce.
The crust had a thick, "buttery" dough with a crispy golden bottom and a light, fluffy interior. Topped with a surprisingly melty, high-quality vegan cheese, it hit every mark.
Tip:
If you order it spicy, be prepared! It carries a kick. If you’re sensitive to heat, you may want to skip the jalapeños or request a milder spice level.

Vegan pizza fusion - Edit
I got the “meat” lovers pizza and it was absolutely disgusting. So many chunks on it that I could not identify as anything. Couldn’t even bring myself to eat the “pizza” that was ordered.
