Vegan cheese!

I'm always looking for places with vegan cheese, and pizza roto has it! Ever since pizza roto has opened I go there all the time! Vegan cheese does cost extra, but most of the time the employees don't even add the extra charge. The pizza is also quick-fired, so if you're in a hurry, this is the place for you.

Pros: Vegan cheese, Unlimited toppings , Very fast

Cons: Pizzas only come in one size

GOOD Vegan Pizza!

This past week, I had the pleasure of eating at "Pizza Roto" (Madison, OH) on several occasions, and it was absolutely fantastic to find a pizza place offering vegan pizza— that was both unbelievably fast (4 minutes) as well as really GOOD! The optional vegan "cheese" costs a bit more than the dairy cheese, but so what? At Roto, you can have as many toppings as you want— all for one (very reasonable) price, and everything was as fresh as could be. (Yes, the red pizza sauce is vegan, too. ) Every surface was clean as a whistle (everything is exposed to view), and the service itself was fast and efficient. There is just one size, but it's plenty for a meal for two people. (They also had a much-appreciated special deal they offered to veterans on Veterans day: 2-for-1, no catch.) I'll tell you— I don't live in Madison (or even in Ohio, for that matter), but if I did, I would be in there at least twice a week!

Pros: Great pizza— fast!, Reasonably priced, Friendly service, plenty of parking

Vegan Pizza but know before you go!

I called in advance to see if they had vegan options including vegan cheese, the staff said yes. The place is set up like an Italian Chipotle. You select your crust, sauce, cheese and toppings as they slide it down the counter. It was confusing to order. I said I would like a vegan pizza; which sauce is vegan. Someone said you can eat the red sauce then she said I'm not sure and then she said, what's vegan? Someone else didn't know what I was asking, they got a can for me to read and the red sauce is vegan. I didn't know at the time but you can get as many toppings as you wish without an extra charge. I didn't like that a topping fell on the counter and they picked it up and put it on my pizza. They have a rotating oven with flames. The pizza cooks in about 5 min. They cut the pizza with the same knife so ask in advance for them not to cut it and when you get up there ask they to use a clean knife to cut it with. This place has potential and great vegan options. The staff just needs trained. They told me something was vegan and said well, people who order GF pizza eat it. I would go back but as a smarter customer for an easier transaction. The price was really good. It says extra for vegan cheese but I guess they didn't know because I was charged the same as my friend who ordered a reg. pizza.

Pros: Vegan Cheese, Price, Fast Service & Clean

Cons: Staff knowledge , Cross contamination , Not clearly marked Vegan
