No go for straight edge punks

The only vegan pizza option is a build your own pizza. It was tasty but feel like there could have been a lot more choice
Also there was only one 0% alcohol (Heineken 👎)

Pros: Loaded pizza

Cons: Minimal options , No chips, Background music was punkless

Average pizza

My husband was really excited about this as he had eaten here before, but it was slightly disappointing. Base was nice, but the toppings were kind of thrown on and were in clumps some places and then some slices had none.
We also got served normal cheese, I realised with the first bite, and they were apologetic and made new ones and took them off the bill. Not taking into account the mix up I still would be unlikely to eat here again.

Vegan pizza options

We ate here for lunch during our trip to Belfast. While we appreciated the vegan options available and had fun building our own pizza, we thought it was just okay. I am pretty sure the cheese they use is Daiya which I really don’t like. The pizzas and the macaroni and cheese were just overwhelmingly Daiya flavored. If you don’t mind that, then you will probably enjoy it more than I did.

Pros: Vegan options

Cons: Only cheese option was not good.

It has gone a bit downhill

Booked this for my brothers birthday in August 2023. Previous to this visit, I had not ate here in years. It was a bit of a let down in all honesty. It was overpriced, service was so slow and the food came out burnt. One of our party did not receive a pizza and to which we had to inform them. This then came out cold.

I refused to pay the additional service charge due to the quality of service we received.

My pizza was okay but I personally would not pick this pizza again. Just as it was not to my liking. Drinks were okay.

I feel like the anarchy vibe has faded from this location. Such a pity as I used to rave about this place.

Pros: Good variety of vegan toppings

Cons: Long wait on food , Part of our order was missing

Good option for lunch

It’s tough to find vegan or vegetarian places in Belfast city centre that are open during the day (I found it hard anyway) so I went to a place with a couple of vegan options.
I asked how it worked and you pick unlimited toppings. I just chose the vegetables. They did have protein options like vegan sausage etc but I get nervous choosing fake meat in non vegan restaurants. I asked if the red sauce was vegan and it was.
I didn’t ask about the other two sauces but one had the word cream in it and the other bbq so I thought the tomato option would be safest. The pizza was a good size. I do wonder what the trend is with cutting pizzas up yourself is though! It was nice.

The waiter was friendly and service was prompt. Also they played a Depeche Mode song when I was there so the music was good,

Great Vibe, Great Food

A cool spot with plenty of options and a great atmosphere. For £12 you can make your own pizza with an unlimited number of toppings. They have vegan mozzarella (which tastes great with none of the funky after taste some vegan cheeses have) and a variety of vegan toppings (BBQ pulled jackfruit, pepperoni, Tuscan sausage) as well as the usual veggie toppings. I went for the Tuscan sausage, red onion, sundried tomato and caramelised pineapple - the sausage was so tasty with a proper bang of spice and the caramelised pineapple was divine. The dough is so light and fluffy and all in all this was probably the best vegan pizza Ive ever had. I also tried the vegan mac n cheese which I enjoyed. They have vegan garlic bread and vegan dough balls as well and a great cocktail menu. Only thing missing was a vegan dessert option

Good Grease Wheel

Ordered some “choose your own toppings” pizzas as there are no vegan recipe pizzas on the menu, so its really up to you to get some good flavours. That said, they had vegan sausage roll things which were super tasty, and garlic/rosemary bread which left me a bit underwhelmed. The pizzas themselves came quick and were very good. A sourdough crust which is super soft and chewy. Would go back next time I’m in Belfast for sure.

Pros: Vegan cheese/toppings

Cons: No vegan recipe pizzas, Can be super busy, Reservations preferred

Great lunch spot

We popped in here for a quick Tuesday lunch and were so happy we did. The £11 (edit: this is now £12 as of summer '22) build-your-own pizza option was perfect - we shared a cheeseless (they do have vegan mozz, we just don't do cheese on pizza) with their excellent tomato sauce, red onion, broccoli, red pepper and their vegan Italian sausage. So, so tasty.
The base was gorgeous - crisp and charred, and didn't sit heavily on the tummy. The sausage was a revelation, kind of a falafel texture, with tons of heat and fennel.
We just drank water, so it turned out to be an amazing value lunch. Service was quick and friendly - the chef brought our food to us.
It's noisy inside (loud music, hard surfaces) but was grand for a weekday. Just a heads up if you're noise sensitive.

Endless pizza options

A great selection of pizza toppings. Very hard to choose so we didn’t bother being specific. Just a red base, vegan mozzarella, all the veges and nduja. It was delicious. A soft base. Plenty of topping volume and some spice. We had a garden salad each and shared the pizza. The only thing that bothered me was the smoke and noise drifting from another table. We were outside. Can’t be helped so not a critism. Would definitely return. So much to try!

Pros: Lots of toppings including fake meats, Lots of choice, Reasonably priced

Cons: Noisy

Build you own pizza £11!

Great build you own pizzas (along with other options). Unlimited toppings of your choice. Pizza was great but service a bit slow and un-attentive. I had red sauce base, bbq pulled jackfruit, sriracha cauliflower, vegan cheese, mushrooms, red onion and sweetcorn

Pros: Lots of vegan toppings , Well priced pizza , Good location

Cons: Staff weren’t the most attentive

In love with this place

This place has the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. I love that you can add as many toppings as you like for the same price, and there is a very wide selection of toppings! Love that the garlic bread is vegan as well!
Since having to be gluten free this place has been a godsend and is one of the few places I can still fully enjoy since this happened
Great staff, great food, great atmosphere

Pros: Great gluten-free selection , Wide range of delicious vegan options , Fantastic atmosphere

Cons: Can be pricey

Re-review

Ok so last review I was critical in part due to fact my pregnant ex wife couldn't get a seat or food here and we needed both.
Well, a mere few years and one more pregnancy later, i recently find myself having more time to try things and free time, 🙄 but anyhow was in area to try.
Yes I'd had an edible and anticipated I'd have an appetite for snacks, so ordered a full pizza and selected from the menu vegan mozarella, spiced Cauliflower, BBQ sauce, jalepeno, sweetcorn and nduja vegan sausage. A build your own pizza is £11 and contains a 2 column system where you get one thing from column A's subsections and as many of column b's as you would like.
Base was slightly dry and slight rough texture but have to say the pizza was delicious and well worth it.
I'm not as uptight anymore and really enjoyed the spices and subtle tastes of this very good and not too heavy pizza. My bro got a pizza with normal cheese and he enjoyed but said was quite a heavy pizza - mine was not heavy and just right. Reasonably quick for a Wednesday lunch in sunny and abandoned Belfast town centre. Anarcho capitalism ftw.

We both had sore tummies

We were so excited to try this place and left really disappointed...We had the vegan pepperoni and - can't remember the name of the staple vegan option from the menu. Pizza dough was crisp and dough-ey but toppings lacked flavour and the vegan cheese was very chalkey in consistency and not cheesey. We also tasted a maple siracha dip but it was like eating liquid sugar with no spicy kick - it was horrible! We also both had severe cramps and tummy ache about 30-60 mins after leaving and it spoilt the rest of the evening for us. Not sure why as we are big fans of little wings vegan pizza and go there often with no tummy issues! Won't be back...

Pros: Funky atmosphere

Cons: Staff seemed inexperienced

Would give it a miss.

I think their vegan cheese is made from cashews which I am NOT a fan of. But that is personal preference. Was average pizza. My meat eating friends said their pizza was average also. Service was slow.

Pros: Alcohol

Cons: Didn't like their vegan cheese, Service was slow

Bad pizza / not vegan ‘respectful’

They put some odd meat looking stuff on my pizza in addition to the vegan sausage. Once asked what it was the waitor (and I believe manager) had no idea - then took it into the kitchen and was gona about 5-7 mins to ‘inspect it in the kitchen’ then came back saying it was just a ‘different kind of vegan sausage’ that they put two different kinds on my pizza...?!? This topping looked excactly like chicken to me and given how nobody seemed to have a clue what it was but at the same time trying to convince me it was vegan, I did not eat the pizza. Waited about 20 mins to get the vegan milkshake I ordered, which never arrived and I was then told I didn’t order. Lol.
Would not go again! Also - that one slize I had of the pizza didn’t even taste nice..

Pros: There’s two vegan ‘meat’ pizza topping options, There’s an option for vegan cheese, And there’s vegan dessert

Cons: Terrible service, Not ‘vegan respectful’

Best Vegan Pizza I've Had!

This place is so wonderful! Lovely modern decor and a casual atmosphere- when I went it was packed but service was good!

I had their vegan cheese pizza and packed as many toppings as I could onto it and it was to die for! The cheese was perfect and the pizza was so filling, which I was gutted about but only because I wanted to order their vegan brownie freakshake too- guess that just means I'll have to go back!

Pros: A great choice of pizza for vegans
