Serves meat, vegan options available. Quick-service pizza restaurant franchse founded 1967 with its first location in Toronto and has since expanded across Canada. Vegan options include the classic dough, cauliflower crust, gluten-free crust, dairy-free vegan cheese, vegan pepperoni, chorizo, and all vegetable toppings. Menu also offers quesadilla, panzerotti, and calzone which could be made with vegan cheese. The potato wedges, fries, sweet potato fries, and garden salad are all reported to be vegan as are these sauces: balsamic vinaigrette, Italian dressing, marinara dipping sauce, hot sauce, mild sauce, Italian pizza sauce, and sweet chili thai sauce. Open Mon-Thu 11:00am-11:00pm, Fri-Sat 11:00am-12:00am, Sun 11:00am-11:00pm.

Quick and Cheap

When it comes to value, you really can't beat Pizza Pizza. Two massive calzones and two cans of pop comes to $16.06. That's unheard of in Nova Scotia.

It's also extremely fast. They have a "if it's not ready in 15 minutes, it's free" rule which again is unheard of nowadays.

The staff have been very friendly and pleasant the couple times I've been in which is another plus.

The food itself is good, not great. I find it a little too rich. I don't care for their tomato sauce but it's still not bad for a treat once in awhile. They have a great selection of toppings to choose from, including vegan cheese by Violife.

I also must warn that placing orders is much easier online than calling. The calls all go to a call center which has been very frustrating in my experience.

Pros: vegan cheese, lots of good toppings, inexpensive
