Had the Mendocino Pizza, which is vegan as is. The pizza is a thin crust pizza with vegan cheese basil and fresh tomatoes. Simple yet extremely flavorful. usually a line so it can take about 20-25 min for the pizza.

Ordered for pick-up while I was in the area; I’m glad I did because it was very busy that Friday night! The vegan Big Sur was very good, although the crust margin was larger than I would have liked for the price, ie I wish the toppings extended further out. Would stop by again if I’m back there.

we had to order a whole pie because they didnt have plain vegan cheese slices but they did have vegan slices with vegan toppings for the more adventurous eaters. i would definitely become a regular here. (should have known the food would be fire, all the kitchen staff speaks spanish)

Now that they have a good vegan cheese and vegan meat option, the pizzas are really good. They even make a heart-shaped pizza. However, they are extremely busy and pricey. Extremely busy means your order may not be ready at the quoted time. Pricey means your wallet tells you that you could've made it cheaper at home. But it feels so nice to go out for pizza so it's worth the splurge every now and then.

There weren’t any vegan options by the slice when I arrived at 6pm on a Friday, but the staff were happy to put in an order for me if I wanted to. Since the wait for that and just ordering a whole pizza were estimated to be the same (30-35 minutes), I decided to get a whole 12” Vegan Sur with all 40 glorious cloves of garlic, Field Roast pepperoni, and Beyond Meat sausage. It was so fantastically hearty! I washed it down with some Lost Coast tangerine wheat beer. Definitely planning to return!
