Only good vegan pizza I've had - Edit
Pizza used to be my favourite food before I was vegan, but I've never really enjoyed a vegan pizza, perhaps because I know how great real pizza truly is. However, the romana style (wide and thin and crispy) here has evolved to the point that I actually do enjoy it, and frequently crave it. The fake cheese is still closer to cream cheese than mozzarella, but on the whole, I like it.

Best pizza in town! - Edit
Pizza express caters to vegans wonderfully and is one of the better chain restaurants in Harrogate. Plenty of choice and you're definitely not left out!! Would highly recommend! Xo

There's a separate vegan menu! The vegan mushroom pizza is very tasty and the calzone is great, chuckful of vegetables and spicy with harissa paste. The staff are very helpful and happy to accommodate vegans. I recommend the mini dessert (tea or coffee with carrot cake). The soy hot chocolate also is divine

Very vegan friendly! - Edit
I had a truly stellar experience here last week • my partner and I were visiting Harrogate for the day & were delighted to see a familiar favourite after an afternoon of walking.

I'm not normally one to frequent chain restaurants, but Pizza Express have honestly won me over in a big way; they're even more accommodating than a lot of fully vegan restaurants, and offer quite a few really nice options for those of us who are gluten intolerant, as well!
We started with their olives, which are fantastic with pink peppercorns, and our two gluten-free vegan pizzas were both delicious • perfect crust, cheese & toppings, served hot, and just the right amount for two people!
We had dessert, too (very rare when dining out with severe allergies & intolerances), as they also offer a (cue choir of angels)... gluten-free, nut-free, vegan carrot cake!!! It was so worth it!!
For both the food and staff at Pizza Express, Harrogate, I'm giving a wholehearted, well deserved 5-star rating!
