Serves meat, vegan options available. International pizza restaurant chain founded 1965 with its first branch in London and has since grown to operate outlets across the UK and overseas. Created a separate vegan menu in 2018 offering choices including: starters like marinated olives and vegan dough balls, multiple varieties of pizzas (uses vegan cheese & faux meats), an al forno penne pasta, alcoholic drinks like cider and beer, fruit sorbet and carrot cake for dessert. Soya milk is available for coffee and tea. Outside of the UK the options may vary so check with your server. Open Mon-Tue 11:30-23:00, Wed 12:00-23:00, Thu-Sun 11:30-23:00.

Pizza pasta and the kids eat it! - Edit
Just like any other Pizza Express in the UK, this is 1 of 2 in Derby. Other one in the intu shopping center.
Read moreAlways something on the menu for vegans and Gluten free options Believe there are almost 10 options now for Vegans.
I love pizza and I'm just glad more and more chain restaurants around the UK cater for Vegans and Gluten free.
They now have an extensive collection of vegan wines as well.
My usual would be :
Starter : Olives & Roasted Tomatoes
Main: Leggera Vegan Giardiniera
Dessert: Leggera Raspberry Sorbet
And a cheeky double espresso.
Always look out for offers to help reduce the cost of dinning. As it can get pricey feeding a family for what it is.
Pros: Vegan Menu, Gluten free, Lots of optiins
Cons: Pricey

We'd meet to laugh and drink and plan our sequels - Edit
Nice vibrant branch of Pizza Express in a cool part of town. I had a lovely vegan pizza whilst my pescatarian mate had a seafood pasta dish much to my disappointment. Let's just say he spent a lot of time in train toilets the next day on the way to Mansfield via Nottingham trying to address the situation. No sympathy I'm afraid. The Mansfield v Plymouth match was rubbish but at least I can recall good memories of a most satisfying meal at Pizza Express Derby the night before.
