Great NY pizza - Edit
We found this spot on happy cow after a show at the Beacon Theater, it was about a block away and was exactly what we were looking for. I loved that they had so many vegan options, the (I believe owner) was so helpful and friendly. We ended up trying four of the vegan options and every one was better than the last. If you’re nearby and love pizza you should definitely give it a try.

There were no vegan slices ready, so I got a fresh slice. I thought it would be a smaller price, so I got 2 but wasn’t able to finish it all. I’ve never gotten a BBQ pizza before, but this was really good. Will definitely come back!

Stumbled upon this place and very pleasantly surprised! They have many (unique) options and vegan slices are freshly made to your order. Affordable (soda was just $2) and nice spot to sit after a long walk through CP! Loved the thick crust pizza!

They have several vegan options that you can get by the slice, the half pie, or whole pie. One slice is really two big pieces though and very filling! My faves are the vegan pepperoni and vegan mushroom.

You can buy pizza by slice and they always have a deal. If you don’t see pizza slices on the display just ask them. Pizza is very delicious.

The variety of vegan pies is awesome. They will make it by the slice and fresh! I loved the Margarita slice the best. The pepperoni slice is the packaged stuff and a bit dry. Great vibe.

Dined in with trying two of their vegan options on the menu. Margarita and Mushroom pizza. Dough was crispy and soft at the same time. Really nice and tasty pizza. Took 6-7 minutes until done but they told us ahead of time. Seating options and bathroom available. Nice service, and even beer and wine on the menu, although wine was poured sparingly.

Love that this place actually has vegan pizza as its own column on the menu! Just had the primavera and it was really good. They also have margherita, mushroom, and vegan sausage options.
Read moreThe pizza is different than your typical NY pizza and more Sicilian style rectangular slices.
Only complaint is they have tons of ready-made slices of all different kinds, none of which are vegan, so it’s not a quick get in and get out to get a vegan slice like it would be with a regular slice. Hopefully if more people buy the vegan slices they will make this change. It wasn’t a long wait.

Favorite Vegan Slices - Edit
I would give five stars if the app let me. They have been offering vegan slices for a while and finally just rolled out a permanent vegan menu! Not the typical New York slice, they serve a unique Roman style pizza which is nice and fluffy with a crispy bottom. I like that they use Violife vegan cheese, And after speaking with the owner, they are open to making their own cheese in house if there’s enough vegan demand! Definitely worth a try.

Grandma pizzas - Edit
This place serves the type of pizza known as "grandma pizzas"--that is, rectangular slices. You can get slices or pieces. Today, I got a couple of their "vegana" slices--essentially, a cheeseless pizza, to which you ask them to add vegan cheese before they put it in the oven to heat up (which takes about 5 minutes). The slices are crispy and light, with a lot of vegetables. There is some (minimal) table seating, and some outdoor seating as well.
