Pizza Bande

The food is gross. My pizza is the one in the photos captioned "ew". Don't go here. I had the vegan John Lemon pizza. It was sooooo bad. It took over an HOUR to get my pizza, and it was awful.

Cool place at St. Pauli. The Pizza is beautiful and the stuff is very friendly. A lot of vegan options. Best place at Hamburg at the moment. But sadly not all-vegan.

I was seriously craving Pizza after becoming vegan and we happened to be in Hamburg. I knew Pizza Bande existed and just needed to try it.

We made our own vegan pizza (view it in the photos). Toppings: pepperoni, jalapeño, vegan feta (made with tofu), olives and more vegan cheese! We ordered arugula, but the cook forgot it :). I also had vegan wine, which was decent and only cost 4.5 euros! It was delicious. We will definitely visit Pizza Bande again soon!

One of the best vegan pizzas we've ever had!
Easy to figure out the menu and build your own vegan pizza with delicious toppings. We had one build your own and one todays special, both excellent.
Busy on a Friday night, but still great atmosphere and good service.

Pizza bande is not a vegan place, but like so many places nowadays it has a sizeable vegan selection and there is no doubt they know what vegan means. Indeed the old worries of eating non vegan produce because one has been misunderstood or they have no idea what it means but say yes because they want your money are largely gone at least in places like this one. They make their own flavoured sietan and tofu and have a tahini sauce as an alternative topping to vegan cheese which i tried and worked well. Their menu is clearly broken down tween vegan and non vegan ingredients , the vegan ones being in green ink. The base was delightfully thin and light, the size was roughly 28 cm in diameter. Not much juice choice if you don,t want one of the omnipresent fritz kola flavours, it would be nice to have a decent pure juice option. The staff were friendly. There is an outdoor seating area which is just as well as this place gets busy in the evenings. Moderately priced very good pizza! Shame they also deal in dead animals.

In this place you have to put together your own pizza. There are many vegan options, also different kinds of vegan "meats". It was hard to choose! But in the end we both had a very tasty pizza. Place has an open kitchen. Also I just always love the atmosphere in these kind of restaurants, very nice.

The pizza I ate here was very, very good! It was one of the specials with mushrooms and chestnut cream.

This place is very popular so you might have to wait a long time. When I arrived I was warned that it would take at least 30 min to get my order ready, but I ended up waiting for an hour. But in the end, I think it was worth the wait :-)

Cosy atmosphere, friendly personal, lots of vegan options

the choices for vegans are endless as one can simply choose the toppings for a pizza apart from four monthly changing options. sometimes they even have fake meats as topping (if you're into that).
the staff is incredibly kind and the atmosphere is very inviting. and last but not least the pizza is delicious! the perfect amount of toppings and crispy not too dry base. I'll be back!

Gemütliches St. Pauli typisches Ambiente mit netten Service und leckerer Pizza.
Allerdings zahlt man schon mal 12 € für seine vegane Pizza und das ist schon etwas teuer.
