Good option

Pituq cafe had some good options when they weren’t out of what you intended to get. A lot of places on the island run out of items constantly. The food here was decent however the food back in Bali is so much better compared to any vegan option on this island.

Good restaurant but nothing wow.

The food was good, but I think I was expecting something more special when I read the comments.
Very classy place, nice decoration, a magnificent view and very smiling waiters.

Cool to have several vegan places on gili air but I think there are better than this address, and at slightly lower prices...

Pros: the staff, the beautiful place & view

Cons: pricy, Gili air has better places to eat

Good attempt resto!

The most successful resto at vegan food on the island, tho they mess up almost in every meal, the food is decent enough. If it’s chickpea omelette is so salty I thought they were trying to poison me hhh; damn cheese cake is nauseatingly sweet, can’t possibly be normal levels of sugar they stuff in there; tofu scramble has corn hair and unchewable bits. So, overall not as good as Samadhi living on Gili T, but okay enough.

Pros: Sometimes yummy, Mango orange juice is delicious

Cons: Mess up almost every meal

Best Restaurant!!!

Have been to Pituq 4 years ago before they relocated and loved it back then already ! Still one of my favourite Restaurants in Indonesia 🙏🏼☺️

We literally have been there every single day of our stay 😅 sometimes even twice a day. We kind of had every dish from the main menu and every single one was really good ! The Rendang, Olah Olah and the Curry Pumpkin Noodles are a bit spicy but absolutely delishous !

Nice atmosphere

Nice location on the beach. We choose pumpkin noodles, rendang and rice paper rolls. The rolls was super but the meals was too creamy and heavy. So we couldn‘t eat up!

Nice but pricy

The food here was nice. We came for brunch and got a few items to share which were big so bare in mind if your ones your own (unless super hungy)!
It's not the cheapest compared to other vegan places on the island but is right next to the turtles so great for brunch.

Delicious food with a view

Everything I have tried in this restaurant has been 10/10. Besides being vegan, the large majority of the dishes can be made gluten free 🙏🏻
Oh, and it accepts card payment 👌🏼

Pros: The food quality , The ocean view, The staff

Cons: No downsides 👏🏻

Decent options, but a little bland

Was really looking forward to eating here, being vegan and not having loads of options on the island.
We tried the cauli bites and broccoli cups for starters which were both incredible. For mains, I had the jackfruit tacos which were a little disappointing. They were still nice, but not as nice as ones I'd had elsewhere. My bf had the beefless rendang which was also OK, but the texture was unusual which put him off.
We enjoyed the smoothies. The staff were really lovely and the place had a great atmosphere.

Pros: Great starters, Tasty smoothies

Cons: A little bland for me

went twice in one day!

absolutely gorgeous location and amazing food! I went myself for lunch (had soup and cheese sticks) and loved it so much i had to take my friends there for dinner (had sesame noodles - my fav)! everyone else loved it too (carnis and vegans) and would go back to gili air just to eat here again! Definitely on the pricier side but worth it for the location and food!

Delicious!

Das Essen war super lecker, wenn auch die Portion etwas klein gewesen ist. Der Kaffee war ebenfalls sehr gut. Personal freundlich & zuvorkommend. Wir werden wieder kommen 😊

Food heaven

Indonesian fusion food with a unique vegan twist. Local ingredients, creative dishes full of flavour. Favourites breakfast: kurma coffee, scranbled tofu, creamy brocccolini and garlic flatbread.
Favourite breakfast: rosti snack, taro cheese sticks and Soto. Incredible. Food coma guaranteed 😅

Beautiful chill location on the beach, friendly and attentive staff, access for beach and snorkeling so you can spend whole day there even.

Pros: 100% vegan food, Creative, Flavours

Amazing

Amazing place though pricey. Local dishes are quite different than those served in Bali. The view is incredible. They also have a shop with some ecological souvenirs.

Creative dishes, stunning views

Located in the North East of Gili Air, Pituq Cafe is in a quieter area of the island (it’s busiest in the south, nearest the harbour). It’s about a twenty minute walk from the harbour. It has seating inside as well as outside, and the outdoor tables are right on the ocean. The cafe has a stunning, beachy atmosphere, and the food that accompanied it does not disappoint. We ate breakfast and lunch here in a single day. Everything we tried had extraordinary flavour and wasn’t like anything else that we’d eaten on the island. Would recommend a visit for anyone.

Pros: All vegan, Lovely, friendly, and attentive service, Creative dishes

Cons: Worth the walk if staying in the south

Creative & tasteful food

Intriguing menu with a fine selection of food. I had Olah-Olah and it was really delicious. If you are looking for fine dining, it’s a place to go.

Pros: Fine selection of foods, All vegan, At the sea

Cons: Expensive but reasonable for this place, Owned by an european - I‘d rather support locals

Nice vegan food with a sea view

Nice place at the beach with outdoor seating, many different dishes, breakfast, snacks, mains, dessert, juices. All 100% plant-based.
Food is really delicious though quite pricy. The view to the beach/ sea is also beautiful.
You can eat vegan food in similar quality for approx. half the price on Gili Air - that is why only 4 stars rating.
But if you want to have the beach view and are willing to pay for it, it is definetely a recommended spot!

Pros: all 100% plant based, plenty options, oitside seating at the beach

Cons: pretty pricy

Very Mixed Feelings

Pituq Cafe is a European owned restaurant that looks across the sea to the craggy coast of Lombok. It has an all vegan menu with new attentive staff.

I really wanted to like this place more, but it was difficult.

I’ll say this though: the rice paper spring rolls are truly fantastic!!! The vegan Redang not so much. I’ve had several versions from Indonesians, and this Euro-version isn’t anything like them: it’s more of a soup with the texture of a thick coconut curry but almost no chili heat and the texture of the mushroom meat is mushy.

The virgin mojito contained no fizz as advertised, the mint lacked flavor, and there was little sweetness. When I addressed this to staff, they did not help (maybe because they were all new). Fortunately the black sesame cake with mango was more satisfying.

Update:
I returned for lunch. The servers remembered my name! The seitan satay is very homemade seitan, not very nuisances and the peanut sauce is overshadowed by the seitan gluten flavor. The Gyro, however, was quite wonderful. Delicious pita, garlic sauce, and gyro seasoning. Unfortunately the bread was underbaked.

Fantastic

Open just in September 2022 this sister (literally) restaurants of JuJu couldn’t be more different. Great views are just the start. The juices to dessert are all delicious. Just stopped in for a snack and juice….had to try dessert and was blown away!
Had the taro cheese sticks and a lucumber juice. Both delicious! Cation filling is really hot!
Then had to have a sweet. PBB vanilla cake was AMAZING! Definitely packs allot of flavors in one little dessert!
Sisters from Finland are restauranteurs of both JuJu and Piqug.
Definitely try Gili Air if you are vegan!

Pros: Variety , Location , Flavor 4. Price

Cons: I don’t live here
