When are they open?

I use to love this place, but no matter what their stated hours are, we have not been able to eat there while vacationing in Mahual for the past two years. Every time we go by, either just the bar is open, or it's completely closed. Very disappointing because the food was really good.

Pros: The food was great

Cons: The kitchen is hardly ever open anymore

Cute place, great service!

We were very happy to find this place in the middle of town with great beach access and two vegan menu selections. Gaspar, the owner/manager, was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely return!

Pros: Vegan tacos rock!, Vegan burger not bad, Good location not far to walk from shuttle

Tasty tacos

Vegan tacos were good and clearly labeled. Two orders of tacos and two cocktails was $30 usd or 600 pesos, so kinda spendy. Owner familiar with vegan. Clean bathrooms and a nice view of the beach.

Cons: Expensive

Pitaya Vegan Tacos

Pitaya is a cute and cozy place to enjoy some drinks and vegan tacos, on the beach or in the covered restaurant.
The tacos themselves were okay. Only because I feel like they need a bit more on them other than cabbage, maybe some pico or avocado as well?

Pros: Decent price for eating out. 3 tacos = 90 pesos

Cons: Only one thing on the menu that's vegetarian/vegan
