Separate Vegan Menu!

We went back this place twice on our vacation. They have a separate
vegan menu for lunch and dinner with multiple items. The falafel is NOT cooked in oil with meat! (Yay) The only thing to note is that the salad dressing recommended has honey it. They were able to sub with oil and vinegar.

Veggie delight

Order the veggie delight, it’s wonderful. Really nice, soft falafel, hummus, grilled veggies, pita, salad. Just get the garden salad and ask for no dairy and they’ll leave off the tzatziki.

Pros: Veggie delight, Outdoor dining area, Friendly waitstaff

Great Options: Has a fully Vegan Menu!

We were very pleased with the restaurant! The staff was super friendly and they had a lunch and dinner vegan menu! The prices in Hawaii are higher than other parts of the US, but that being said, the price was no different than the non-vegan part of the menu.

Pros: SUPER kind staff, Vegan Menu, Cute outdoor sections

Cons: Only 1 single use bathroom

Not very vegan friendly

They have falafel options but to swap out feta and tzatziki for hummus, they make you pay for it.The food that we did get was really good though.

Pros: Nice food , Nice area

Cons: Not many vegan options, Pay to substitute items

Delectable!

Ordered the appetizer platter, made vegan, and it was great! The pita was some of the best I’ve had & the olive tapenade was delightful.

One vegetarian dinner entree

Saw this place on happycow and stopped by for a try. Her's my Maui Pita Paradise review.

It's a nice restaurant in a fancy part of Maui, but the menu is primarily meat and dairy. There is however one veggie platter appetizer and one veggie entree dinner. We had the latter. As of writing it's $18 which is not cheap but not too expensive considering the location.

The pita bread is seasoned, the hummus and falafel taste like they are made in-house with their own recipes, plus choice of side salad. Overall a good dish, filling for one person.

Not Good For Lunch

Lunch menu has nothing (besides a small appetizer or two) that is vegan. Servers are not very helpful at figuring out how to substitute to make a dish vegan either. Worst part is they will charge you for substitutions even though you are asking them to leave off a ton of ingredients.

Aside from that mess, the food is good. Try ordering the pita spicy falafel sandwich, leave off feta and sub hummus for tatziki if you do come for lunch.

vegetarian stuff is mostly appetizers

At least at dinnertime, there was only one vegetarian main dish (vegetable gnocchi, at $20). Most of the vegetarian stuff was appetizers, plus a couple salads.

Pros: close to resorts in Wailea

Cons: somewhat pricey, poor non-appetizer vegetarian selection
