Lots of options! - Edit
There is a separate vegan menu with lots of options. Service was good and the food was good. I did find that the tofu would have benefited from some marination as it was a bit bland. Nice patio

Great service - Edit
Since it was my first time there, I recieved a complimentary hummus assortment appetizer w/pita bread. I ordered the California Beach as a bowl. It came as a salad on a bed of rice. It was good, but some of the rice was too crunchy. Great service. Would definitely eat there again.

Several Vegan Options - Edit
Pita Jungle has a great vegan menu! It’s a good option when dining with omnis. The falafel salad and tofu shawarma are my favorites!
Read moreFor some reason, this particular location has had several times where all tofu dishes are out of stock. It can go on for weeks and seems to be unique to Chandler.

Yum! - Edit
The cilantro jalapeño hummus is the best. I tried the Gyro Super Hero and with it was great. It has a plant based meat substitute which was really good. Regular pita instead of Greek makes it vegan. I didn’t like the vegan tzatziki (tasted like hot Mayo-gag) so I opted for the hummus to put on it. I’d definitely order it again. Pita jungle has so many vegan options that I could go there often and don’t have to have the same thing!

Mediterranean Tex-Mex (new animal) - Edit
Pita Jungle is popular for good reason. It's centrally located (3 PHX locales that I'm aware of), serves a very popular lunch and dinner menu, sports a full bar and offers live entertainment on the weekends.
Read moreTheir seasonal veggie / vegan bowls are my go-to. There are other vegan options and they'll customize as needed.
Pros: Vegan friendly and largely vegan aware staff, seasonal menu with agile preparation on request, popular spots thanks to good service and goo prep
Cons: large oil ratio to serving size - less oil please, menu custom requests are botched - not often

falafel - Edit
I love this restaurant so so much. I just had the falafet ant it was amazing. The staff was very nice and had really quick service. My favorite part was how they decorated. It had the thrifted feel that I love. 10/10 would recommend and I'm definitely going back.

Pita Jungle - Edit
We were in Arizona for a convention and tried out Pita Jungle. OMG! Wonderful, yummy, healthy food! Try the Cilantro Jalapeno Hummus! We ate at the Chandler location three times and the Tempe location (where they also have breakfast) three times, plus take out for when we couldn't eat there. I want this restaurant in San Jose, so I can eat this stuff regularly.

Cons: too far from my home
