I feel like this place is somehow affiliated with Catch Your Breath in La Paz, since the menus are so similar (pickled eggplant sandwich, 3 varieties of vegan empanada)…
Read moreThe offerings here are much better than the ones on the main tourist street, which are all very similar and don’t put much effort towards catering for vegans. At least this place clearly labels things.
Tried each of the 3 empanadas, took a little while but tasted pretty good and not too expensive, at 6 for 55bs.
All of the restaurants in the centre of Copa pack out from 12-1pm as all of the tourists are filling time before their boat/bus departure, better to go another time if possible.
Pros: clearly labelled options, 3x vegan empanadas
Cons: slow and can be very crowded

Vegan pizza was good, the biggest size is massive! The spicy empanada was just ok. But the day we went the service was extremely slow, almost an hour to serve, and they werent that busy, so might not be a good option if you're in a hurry.

Die veganen Empanadas gehörten zu den besten, die wir in Südamerika gegessen haben. Allerdings sind die Wartezeiten wirklich lang und der Service eher etwas unfreundlich. Wir werden daher leider nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Huge Pizza! Tasty and crispy dough and fresh toppings. But is missing the special taste - we asked for salt and pepper and it helped but would be great if they'd add flavor - oregano, olive oil etc.
🥟 Vegan Curry Empanda (8 BOB)
Hot and fresh, crispy! Only downside was the too intense garlic taste as few full garlic... were inside.

Several vegan options listed on the menu. Tried both the vegan curry empanada and spicy vegan empanada. The pastry was more like filo pastry, which is different to other empanadas I've tried. They tasted great but the pastry was undercooked. Not very big, recommended as a snack. The apple pie was excellent.

Very vegan friendly by Bolivian standards, with clearly labelled vegan options on the menu. Choose from vegan soups, empanadas, pizzas, sandwiches etc. We had the aubergine and sundried tomato sandwich which was delicious, especially the homemade bread.

I've been craving porridge for ages and this one was incredible. They made the oats with soya milk and lots of tasty fruit on top. It was incredibly creamy and delicious.

We popped in looking for breakfast or lunch - and saw lots of options. In the end, we only ordered peanut butter and jam on toast but it was good! We were impressed with the range of options available.

3 types of vegan empanadas (curry, picante and mushroom) and a well garnished vegan pizza (courgette, peppers, olives, onion, tomatoes), all made fresh on the spot. They also have a vegan oat/banana brownie (quite expensive though, 20bob). Very friendly staff. Lovely spacious indoor seating.

Reliable spot with marked vegan options - Edit
This might be your most reliable spot in Copacabana. They have a vegan sandwich, vegan quinoa salad, several types of vegan empanadas, and vegan brownies. The food was good, and the service was good. They were open at 2pm on a random Tuesday when a lot of other places were closed.

Vegan empanadas and sandwich - Edit
There were two different vegan empanadas 1 with muchrooms and one with spicy vegetables mix. I preferred the spicy one. It was good but nothing exceptional. I also had a very good juice with soya milk. You can choose the fruits you want from all the ones they have.

1 empanada is 8bs and 2 empanadas 15bs.
There was also a brownie with avena chocolate and bananas I didn't try. It costed 20bs.
