Great burger place - Edit
The charcoal bun gave my burger a nice earthy flavor. It had a creamy sauce and a nice crunch with the pickles
Read moreand lettuce. Overall, a tasty burger. They add potato starch to their fries, and it gives them a great texture. The shake was kinda expensive, but it was good and went well with the burger and fries. Definitely a good place to try for burgers.
Pros: Unique buns, Fun theme

Yum - Edit
I’m a huge fan of beets- so I had to make a stop here on my way to Minnesota! Amazing beet burger and fries. Tasty, cooked perfect and great staff. Now let’s talk about the shakes- oh my, I would drive 5 hrs for those. The secret is ( to me) Oatly soft serve. Genius. Please go and try all their food!

What’s great about this place is they get the basics right. Burger, fries, shake. All delicious.

Simply delicious! Best burger (slider) I've had since going vegan. The french fries are fantastic as well. Always try to fit in a stop here whenever I'm in the KC area.

First time, not the last time - Edit
I’m not from the area but have been wanting to try this place during my next trip to KC. Well the time finally came. Ordered the cheese burger which comes with their secret sauce, the KC fries which were amazing and treated myself to the Oreo shake (the best milk shake I’ve ever had!!). Both the food and customer service were top notch.

Delicious junk food - Edit
Pirate's Bone has some awesome burgers and fries and ice cream. I assume the nugz are great as well, but I haven't tried them yet. I honestly think their beet burger is better than the options using the impossible burger! It's super tasty. And the oreo milkshake is heaven.
Read moreThe only downside is seating. If the weather is nice, you can get a table on their patio, but if not, you're basically only able to sit side-by-side at the bar which isn't ideal for chatting with friends. Also, the hours can be hard to keep track of, so make sure you check they're open before heading over.

Absolutely wonderful! - Edit
Everything in here is vegan. I had a Classic cheeseburger with KC fries and it was so delicious! Cooked to perfection, no burnt or dry edges like some other places. Plenty of options. A little pricey but as a vegan in the Midwest, I’m willing to pay to support local vegan options.

Great restaurant, a must visit for burger lovers in KC - Edit
It was a great visit! They have countertop seating that makes it easy to meet other people, as well as a few tables inside and outside. The food was great and the fries serving is gigantic, even the regular size!

A little disappointed! - Edit
I ordered the double cheeseburger with all sauces/spreads on the side, add onion. Unfortunately they didn't comply with either request. Didn't care for the white sauce AT ALL, too much and too overbearing. The burger alone was $16.00 even. Just check your order before you leave.

REALLY!! WOW!! - Edit
Pirate Bone is absolutely delicious! They have the BEST BURGERS! My go to right now is “ I can’t believe it’s not beef” classic or double burger with a side of buffalo fries. O I can not leave out I add avocado spread on my burger, but you will love anything on there menu. They not only have delicious food. they also have excellent customer service. #Veganuary

Stopped in for the black bun sliders and cheese fries but those items are no longer available. Ordered the McRibless and hubby had burger, fries and nugs. Would stop in again when I’m craving junk food vegan for sure.

Fantastic burgers! - Edit
So so good. This was my first time ever eating at a dedicated vegan restaurant and I was not disappointed. I dragged my omnivore dad along and he also ended up loving it, he even thought my practically carnivore brother wouldn't have had an issue with it. Food was delicious and out quick, I got a double cheezeburger and split herbivore fries, would 100% recommend.
