Nice sandwich

There’s a few decent vegan options here. I had a vegan sandwich. It was on sourdough bread. It came with tomato, avocado, aubergine and spinach. It was really nice

Pros: Great vegan sandwich

Our favorite on vacation

We actually ate something at PiQNiQ on vacation quite often - it was a good choice just because of the location, but it also tastes fantastic there - both on-site and off-site.

The restaurant is not strictly vegetarian or vegan, but does offer some options for both diets. There are bowls, sandwiches, burgers and more. These items also lend themselves well to taking to the beach.

Pros: Centrally located

Cons: Few seats

Bella idea!

Delicious take away

Visited last week with our family of 6. Ordered lunch of salads/sandwiches/poke bowl and desert of delicious brownie and banana bread. Roasted veg sandwich with homemade pesto was delicious! Took our food away and ate it in the market square in the shade.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Delicious vegan deserts, Homemade pesto

Great for take away to the beach!

Several really tasty vegan options. Come packed as perfect take away for example for a day at the beach. Open from 9.30. We had the lentil salad and poke bowl, both very tasty. And so was the banana bread. Wooden cutlery available as well.

Lots of vegan options, great food...yes!!!

Definitely check this place out (only open till 3.30pm, though) for lots of vegan and veggie options. There are daily specials, too. I had the Vegan Poke Bowl, which was delicious and filling, and ordered a vegan brownie for my pudding, later in the evening. Most of what you get the food in is recyclable, so it's all good.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, fresh produce

Cons: Could be hard to find for some., Just use online maps!

Healthy food made with love

It's well worth seeking out this small shopfront down an unassuming side street in Ciutadellia.

PiqNiq, one of the only vego and vegan options available on Menorca's west coast, is a petite but mighty restaurant lovingly run by its two French owners.

There isn't a whole lot of seating space inside, but you can easily take away your food and enjoy in one of the open squares nearby.

The menu is refreshingly affordable and the serving sizes give you great value for money. €6-7 for a healthy, substantial main - largely vegan at that - is an impressive feat.

I tucked into a delightful mix of the bulgur wheat tabouleh and vegan pasta 'Rummo', and also at my table was the quinoa salad - each a plentiful and well balanced meal packed with fresh ingredients and drizzled with a light dressing.

I'd definitely recommend trying a mix of dishes as each seems to be as enjoyable as the next, and the food really is beautifully prepared and served.

On the way out, grab a vegan cookie or slice of banana bread for a euro or two. It will top off what is an exceptionally wonderful vegan find in Ciutadella.

Pros: It's gorgeous owners, Healthy and delicious food, So afforable!

Cons: Not much seating space
