No longer vegetarian only - Edit

Things look to have changed at Pink Lotus - there's still a sign on the roof saying 'Pink Lotus', but the venue seems to be called something else and to be basically an Indian restaurant. It promises both veg and non-veg food, but we didn't stick around to test it out. The website also appears to be down.

unable to really review... - Edit

Wow, I sure was excited about this place and really wanted to like it. Unfortunately, I didn't even end up eating here as I just didn't get a great impression. The place was a bit stinky, the menu was... especially "well-used," the greeting was friendly but, for reasons I won't go into, a little creepy.

I sort of ran away and down the street, where I found Gopala which I really liked a lot more. Plus with Ghandi's and other veg restaurants around here, it's tough to recommend this.

Still, some people really seem to like it (well, no one was there at the time, but... I mean on HappyCow), so it could be worth another try.

Pros: unsure, cute name

Cons: stinky, funky, weird

Good variety, moderate taste, healthy cooking. - Edit

This Restaurant generally do not add much msg to enhance the taste, hence the comment "of moderate taste" could be unfortunate for him/her if he/she has been "enjoying" the spiced up msg vegetarian food in the other restaurants he had visited.
I personally find the taste acceptable and most of the dishes are delicious and my family loves eating there. I think that is the way it should be because the owner must be concerned of the health aspect as the commentator himself/herself had indicated in he coment.
I can also see that the owner is promoting "Vegetarian as the first step to healthy living".
