Serves meat, vegan options available. Restaurant offering a vegan burger, hot dog, salads, and non-dairy milkshakes made with coconut based ice cream. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-8:00pm.
Omni burger joint with some labeled vegan options, including milkshakes with "Cosmic Bliss" cream (formerly Coconut Bliss before they expanded to be nonvegan).
Classic greasy spoon burger joint made vegan. Nice to be able to eat this way again (once in a while). The burger was your standard Impossible/Beyond patty but they added their own spin to it. Everything tasted "normal" and could fool any omni. Price was high but for an infrequent occasion, not a problem.
I've eaten here twice now and have enjoyed both my experiences. They have a clearly labeled vegan burger that comes with vegan cheese and mayo. The bun they use is delicious and one of the best I've ever had on a burger. Their fries are also great - fresh, crisp, and salty. They also have a somewhat pricey, but clearly labeled, vegan milkshake that is nice for a treat that comes in a few different flavors. Overall a solid option for vegans looking for a burger and fries meal.
The pattie of the vegan burguer is the beyond meat, which you have to be a really bad cook to make It wrong, though obviously I appreciatte that at least the have something to offer to vegans
Best vegan burger! I had the habenero burger and it was excellent. Kids got shakes with coconut milk that were so thick and creamy! I had to steal some!
Customer service was top quality and the cool local vibe was so fitting to Grass valley. I've got a new favorite place to eat in GV!
WOW!!! Hands down my favorite in Grass Valley! Had their vegan smoldering burger. Awesome grilled onions and bacon, ooey gooey cheese and mayo, nice chipotle kick and the bun was to die for! All this for $10.50! I'M IN LOVE!
My husband and I were in town for the Animal Film Festival. We found Pine Street Burgers by accident - we were going to the place next door but they were closed. PSB had a huge sign outside their restaurant advertising non-dairy milkshakes so we thought that was a good sign (no pun intended) that they had other vegan options.
We ordered the vegan cheeseburger and they clearly stated that every component (eg. cheese, bun) was also vegan. the veggie hot dog, asian salad, and the non-dairy vanilla milk shake made with coconut bliss ice cream. Everything was great.
