Really tasty tapas style food

A good selection of vegan options, I tried 4 and all were delicious. Felt like the veganoptions were actuallywell thought out rather than just replacing meat with tofu. Didn't think it was that expensive considering the quality of the food.

Pros: Very tasty food, Friendly staff, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Not cheap, but far from extortionate

A delicious way to spend your Sunday! 🍾

Pinchy's is a fun place with very friendly service! We were visiting from the United States so pre-ordered our bottomless brunches in advance. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy the vegan version of each course of the menu. without having to make any special orders Everything was tasty although not on the healthy side (fried with vegan mayo based sauces). I notice the reviews that are critical of the price being high. I may agree with this for people who require large portions or who don't drink alcohol. We enjoyed several drinks (they allow you to mix and match) which made the price quite reasonable since they were included. When the fries arrived near the end of the meal we were too full to eat them; they may want to bring these earlier or change up the menu to replace the fries with a fancy salad or dessert.

Pros: Unique and delicious vegan dishes, Unlimited sparkling wine and other drinks, Super friendly & attentive waitress and bartender

Cons: Preparations could be healthier

Delicious

Interesting and delicious. I love how they tried to mimic all of the meat dishes. Expensive but yum!

Horrendously expensive, tiny portions

The good:
Vegan options - great!
The morsels of food are delicious - Would rate 5/5 for the food
Nice lighting and decor.

The bad:
Horrendously expensive for what you get. Basically something like $5 -$8 a mouthful, even for vegan options. Eg the tofu taco is $8, and about the size of a 50c piece. The pickled celeriac had about 6 thin slices of celeriac for $14 and the
Fries are no bigger in serve than a maccas large fries, but are $14.
The Lion's Mane Mushroom Roll was WAY overpriced. Two pieces of mushroom in a small toasted sandwich. $18.

Not really silver service - The tables were basically cafeteria type bolted down tables, but with white linen napkin.

And the service felt a bit intrusive, obsequious, and pushy, and trying to encourage you to also leave an electronic tip (rather than just pressing accept at the end), which makes you feel cheap. NB. This is Australia. We don't tip. Staff should be paid properly, especially at these prices.

If the food were 1/2 as expensive, or the portions 2x the size, I would recommend this place. But I would feel ashamed in taking my inlaws here. It's a rip off.

Also felt a bit overcarbed by the end of it.

If you do go here, fill up on dumplings downstairs at Shandong Mama first. Or go if you've won the lotto.

Pros: Delicious, Vegan options

Cons: Horrendously expensive, Minute portions, Quite noisy

Tasty but small serves

I noted in the booking that we were both vegan and the waiter was very attentive to this. He let us know there was only one vegan lion mane mushroom roll which was thoughtful. We came here after being at the Kino as it was convenient. I had booked outside which was good on a humid night. We ordered tacos, leek croquettes shared a lion mane mushroom roll and the fries. The tacos were very little. Probably two bites and that was it although it was nice. The leek croquettes were delicious. Small again and we actually ordered another serve of these. Highly recommend! The roll was nice without being be amazing and the chips were good.
The staff were really nice and the cocktail I had was nice. I would have found the music a bit loud inside.

Bloody good food

Very Impressed by Pinchy’s Vegan Menus. They have a choice of Al a cart or $50/$70/$90 set vegan menus. We went for the $70 set and every dish was damn amazing. If your in the CBD and after a damn fine meal this is where you’ll find it.

Pros: Tons of vegan options and set menus, Amazing food, Great staff, great atmosphere

Cons: A bit pricey but the quality is worth it.

Full duplicate menu that’s vegan

Pinchys offer a duplicate vegan (now called ‘made friendlier’) menu where every dish mimics the ‘made by the sea’ menu.

All dishes are served as ‘small plates’ and perfect for sharing. Our group ordered one /few of everything then reordered our faves.

The dishes are inventive, beautifully presented and taste amazing. A good range of cocktails and an extensive wine list. Service is excellent. Beware decor is very pink😄We were seated inside in a a very comfortable booth, but there is also an outdoor balcony bar which would be amazing on a warm nights.

Pros: Full duplicate vegan menu, Excellent food & service, Sharing style menu

Cons: Limited dessert menu

The best vegan food I’ve had yet!

Not sure how these guys managed it but the vegan menu here is out of this world.
The owner gave me a run down on all of the ingredients and I was honestly blown away. All ingredients are sourced locally. They even accommodated one of my friends that couldn’t have soy. This is my new go to. The atmosphere is beautiful, the decor is awesome, great vibe on the rooftop, DJ playing and the cocktails were delicious.

Pros: Full vegan menu , Great atmosphere , Staff were great
