Simply sublime! - Edit
We were enticed to the stall by the owner offering passers-by a taste of the patatas bravas with aioli. When we said no because we were vegan, he immediately swapped his samples for the vegan version and we were so impressed that we ordered a whole portion. Despite having lived in Spain for a year, these bravas were the best I have ever tasted! Crunchy, salty, fatty, garlicky and delicious!
Read moreWe had looked out for the stall again for several months, always seeming to go at the wrong time, but we managed to find him this weekend and ordered basically everything that he offered - the aubergine, lettuce and aioli bocadillo with patatas bravas, and the deep fried aubergine fries. They were all delicious!! And the whole thing (enough food to fill up three people) was only £17! We were too full to get the chocolate churros but definitely will next time! The owner was very happy to serve us the food in our reusable plastic boxes. :)
Also, rare for Spanish food, the whole thing was vegetarian (mostly vegan other than a dairy option of mayo and I think a cheese-based bocadillo). So no jamon in sight!
In summary: absolutely astonishingly good food - I recommend this to anyone looking for a vegan weekend lunch in Cambridge. Completely delicious and authentic, at an amazing price too!

Lovely Spanish cuisine which you don’t see as often as a vegan. The best patatas bra as I’ve had and beautifully authentic aubergine sandwich/slider. Great value and very filling😋

Lovely sandwiches (and excellent bravas) - Edit
I've had sandwiches from here a few times, both vegan and vegetarian. They're consistently very good - tasty sauces and very filling. I also really recommend the patatas bravas (which you can get vegan) with its excellent tomato sauce and the fried aubergine too. Everything comes in good portions too, it's excellent value for what you get.
