Really Good Quality Food

At Pim's, you don't just get regular food, you get food that can heal and nourish you!

All of her ingredients are chosen very carefully. She doesn't use palm oil, sugar, or gluten. And yet, the food tastes excellent! She truly wants to offer only the best for her customers and puts in a lot of effort. We've had long conversations about nutrition and the importance of good ingredient quality, and you can tell how important it is to her to serve her customers the best quality.

I can't confirm the negative comments; she was very friendly and sweet to me. She's a strong, intelligent woman who has her values and principles—perhaps some people feel triggered by that? When I had the flu, she took great care of me and cooked me wonderful soups to help me recover quickly.

Thank you, dear Pim 💚

Cons: Ask about vegan options, not everything vegan

Great foods, nice people!

Really good selection of foods for both my girlfriend (full vegan) and me (mostly vegan).

Coconut yogurt is amazing with any of their options! The smoothies are nice as well.

Staff really lovely! Has become a regular place for us to have breakfast while we stayed here for a few months.

Pros: Lots of vegan options!

Another spot for vegan breakfast here

Fortunately I cannot confirm the complaints about unfriendliness. I did not have much conversation, but that was absolutely ok, and I heard others doing friendly smalltalk with the staff. The coconut pancakes with fruits were good and so was the coffee.
However there are cheaper places around with even better quality.

Everything is vegan!

The yogurt here is simply the best on the island. It’s made from all vegan products and anyone who bases a review on them not getting along with the owner is clearly not writing a review about the food.

Pros: Best vegan yogurt, Best vegan chocolate, Locally owned woman business

Unfriendly owner & nothing special

I already passed this place many times. One day I stopped because I wanted to check it out. First I had a look at the restaurant next to the shop. Already at this moment the owner was not really friendly. Afterwards I went to the shop next door. She told me I have to wear my mask - fine. When I entered the small shop I closed the door but maybe it did not close 100% - the owner came and was rude to me why I did not close the door (I was inside for 10 seconds)
She told me that she is paying for the air con and why I don’t close the door.
Because nobody was in the Shop (also the owner was in the restaurant next door not in the shop) I ask myself why she turns on the aircon on such a high level. Anyway
When I went to the restaurant there was a big fridge with chocolate and I asked her if it’s vegan - she told me that I should read. Unfortunately I have not seen the sign over the fridge. A friend of mine told me the exact same story.

worst interaction ever

we admittedly didn’t go in to the shop as it was closed because of staff shortage i believe, so pim was in the cafe attached, and if the service we received from her here is anything to go by then visiting the shop also isn’t worth being attacked by the rudest owner ever

Not Recommended

This health store is co-owned and adjacent to Joy of Life cafe. They sell a few useful things but unfortunately I do not recommend this shop. I find the lady to be a little hostile and she was very fussy about the way I was wearing my mask even though she herself was not wearing one at all. They sell a lot of rare of items but you can get these at a couple of other shops for much cheaper. Some products are home-made but the hummus and the pesto are both very oily. She also does not give any discount for bringing back an old jar, unlike My Healthy Me who do. It's sad that there's no incentive to return old jars and won't encourage people to do so. You can find most of the regular home-made items at My Healthy Me for cheaper and with a better taste. She does sell pea protein and other vegan protein powder though which I'm not sure I have seen anywhere else, although you could probably order it online cheaper.

Zero Joy of Any Life

Short Review:
Place has zero “joy of life”
Bad Service
Can’t take photos inside
Basic product selection
Overpriced repackaged goods

Long Review:
I had a very bad experience at her small shop Pim Boutique Organic "Joy of Life". The staff lady who worked there was very rude and seemed like she did not want to be there and was not joyous to have customers in her store. She was glaring at us from the moment we parked our bike on the curb. I almost turned around actually to leave because I felt so weird. lol

I was excited to visit the store to see what bulk and organic products they had. However, most things were repackaged and resold (probably from Mackro) or another bulk supplier. It was also very overpriced for the amount.

I was not impressed with the quality either and she had a lot of random Western products all over the place. I found things overpriced when compared to other Western type specialty stores on the island.

Don’t go out of your way to go here. Especially with the poor attitude. I felt weird spending my money there but I needed something in a pinch.

Just go to Limpongping or the organic shop in Srithanu or even Lazada.

She has some homemade products but I don’t find them high quality. The pesto is extremely oily (the oil is low quality and leaves a weird coating on the tongue). It was too much herbs, with no salt, or acidity to break the herb flavor. I also did not taste any of the pine nuts that would go in a pesto or if she added a vegan cheese substitute. I would not recommend it.

Her coca nibs were stale. Her bulk products are subpar (for the price)

Oh and no pictures allowed! Which is weird because I wanted to take pictures of the products to remember what they have and budget but I was told no photos. Why? Are her store products copyrighted?

Then when I took out my money out my bag, the attendant watched me like a HAWK! I felt like a was an inmate not a customer...
Save your time And money Unless it’s for convenient.

I like her vegan coconut yogurt but just buy it at limpingpong or other shops all over the island.

I would avoid this place.

Pros: Its in Thailand, Easy Location

Cons: Unfriendly Staff, Overpriced, Poor Quality
