highly disappointed - not open - Edit
I am reviewing my experience not the food as I didn't get to try it. I waited out the front of the restaurant with the roller door cracked open but not all the way up for 45 minutes after the opening time advertised on the same roller door and happy cow but they never opened. Very disappointed to not be able to try their food and didn't go back another day as didn't want to be disappointed again. There are many options for vegans in this area so if this happens to you head down to the square for plenty of nice choices! Hope you have better luck if you visit.
Cons: not open when advertised

Excelent, couldn't be better - Edit
Was very pleased with the food. I ordered the tomatoe salad for staters which was very good and a very generous serving and my friend ordered a salad made out of different types of leafs with seeds which was also very nice. Thanks o the recomendation of Laura, who loooked after us, I ordered a curry and rice made by their Japanese cook,it was excellent, my friend ordered pasta with a tomatoe and aubergine sauce, it was also very good. You could tell it was all home made from fresh products. The cocktails were certainly up there, for 7.50 each. We ordered a great assortment and they were all fantastic. The staff were really friendly, we ended up chatting with the cook, Didac, and Laura. They couldn't have beeen more friendly and helpful. I will certainly be back :)
Forgot to mention that it was really inexpensive for the quality and amount of food we got.
Pros: Generous helpings, VERY well priced

Best food in Barcelona - Edit
This was by far the best food we've eaten in Barcelona (and London, and most other places for that matter). For the quality of the food, this is very cheap. The sandwiches, burgers, deserts and bar were all great but it was the unbelievably delicious tapas that had us returning several times during our last stay. The portions are generous, the food imaginative and absolutely mouth watering. The set menu was three lovely courses and an alcoholic drink for less than €9.
The decor and atmosphere is relaxed and bohemian (but certainly not sloppy) and despite the already late opening hours, when we didn't feel like leaving, they simply stayed open longer. The service team is lovely and has a particularly special member-Bruno, the friendly and very, very cute dachshund!

Pros: Delicious food, good location, very reasonably priced, lovely staff and atmosphere
Cons: We weren't allowed to take Bruno home!

Pile in Here - Edit
Totally retro style vintage place, verging on chic in a cool area of the city. This is the type of place you can enjoy yourself with a few sharply impressive cocktails in friendly surroundings with some damn hot grooves going on. The tapas and salads here are good quality and complement the drinks very well indeed. Very impressed with the whole concept. Get down here and make it a success. If you want a veggie night spot open until 03:00, this is it!!
Pros: Retro style, Great drinks, open until the early hours
