Disappointing - Edit
Got the vegan breakfast. It was ok, totally edible, just very basic and not filling for what it was. Coffee was poor and I went somewhere else afterwards.

Overpriced for taste - Edit
I came here 3 times for breakfast. Both overnight oats aren’t anything special. The green smoothie bowl is nice. It’s not bad but from what I tried I don’t think it’s worth it. Cv Cafe is much better and well priced.

The place is very chilled, they have a small shop in the back and the food is delicious, they also make their own coconut milk 👌🏼

Amazing creative menu!! - Edit
Came here for breakfast and took about 20 minutes to choose what to have because the breakfast options they offer all sound absolutely incredible. The interior and decor of this place is very cool and the kind of place you just want to stay a bit longer. Staff were lovely and the food was delicious. Wish I'd had time to go back for more!

One of the best vegan meals ever - Edit
Beautiful restaurant and very nice staff. But the food takes it to another level. Where is our selection of dishes:
Read moreAvocado, Chickpeas and Sun-dried Tomatoes Salad
Incredible fresh and flavorful toast. Avocado on point, mint for a even fresher twist and everything was perfectly seasoned. Just perfect. Price: 5,75$
Mushroom & Olive Toast
Spotless toast and an amazing combination of flavors. The mushrooms were amazing and the pickled carrot is a great twist. Price: 5.25$
Roasted Veggie & Orzo Salad
Probably the best salad we've ever tried. Everything was perfect. It's very rich in vegetables, the balsamic reduction was incredible and the salad was slightly warm. Just perfect. Price: 6$

One of the best ever as of 2019 - Edit
As an ethical vegan, this is a hard review to write. I've eaten in hundreds of vegan restaurants and hundreds of vegetarian restaurants. I've been to the Americas and almost every country in Asia and Europe. My home is Camden Town in London which boasts some of the most famous and celebrated vegan restaurants of them all. Names like Rudy's, Purezza, Mildred's, Vburger, What the Pitta and Young Vegans.
Read moreI can't believe I'm saying this, but Pilgrim vegetarian in Kampot is as good as any of them.
The attention to detail and the quality of the vegan food here is something very very special indeed.
I can be a bit of a dragon on this app sometimes. I'm not the kind of vegan that just gives out 5 stars to everyone because I think I'm saving the animals. I believe in constructive criticism because only by elevating standards above traditional restaurants can we ever hope to end animal suffering for good.
Even though Pilgrim is not totally vegan, it's certainly one of the finest dining experiences I have personally encountered in 5 years on the road and 30 countries.
Congratulations to the Owners and staff. You are artists of the highest calibre that could proudly stand shoulder to shoulder with the best in the world at this price point.
Pros: Unrivaled vegan food, Attention to detail in every aspect of service, So much heart and soul in this food

The cafe is absolutely lovely, the cozy space is perfect for a long breakfast or an afternoon with a book. Lots of healthy and hearty vegan options available, such as lentil and roast veggie salad, as well as some tasty treats. My favourite is the pineapple & banana smoothie with ginger, vanilla and coco milk, tastes like an ice cream popsicle!
