Pigs are amazing

I volunteered there a few times many years ago. It is such a special place that makes such a huge difference in these pigs lives. I learned that pigs are actually a lot like dogs in their behavior and they eat lots of fresh vegetables.

Pros: Saves pigs lives

Great organization!

We admire Judy and her compassion for saving pigs! We donate regularly and would also highly rexommdn booking a tour to see what she's doing - it books up weeks in advance!

Pros: Amazing pig sanctuary, Get to feed pigs carrots and apples

Great Sanctuary

This place has a lot of nice space for all the pigs to spread out. I love that the all-vegan grocery store in Seattle, Vegan Haven, supports the sanctuary. It's also nice that they have banners all around that give facts on pigs. There are tons of pigs, with a wide range of sizes.

Hog Heaven

I absolutely love this place and have so much admiration for Judy for the work she does to give so many pigs a good life. Excellent care for physical and mental/emotional needs is given and Judy is completely dedicated to the appropriate care for these pigs as well as educating others about the plight of pigs in factory farming and the overpopulation and lack of appropriate homes for pot bellied pigs.. It is a very well run sanctuary and a beautiful place.

Pros: Has helped hundreds of pigs! , Outreach/education a part of the mission, Very clean, well run sanctuary.

Cons: Can be hard to get a hold of (very busy)
