Food isnt it

We loved the board game selection and alcohol free cocktails but the food just wasn’t very good. I recommend coming here for drinks and games only.

How random!

My non-vegan friend wanted to take me here for the games and I was pleasantly surprised looking at the menu! I got the tofu scramble and it was one of the best I've had!

Yum!! You have to come here

Holy good god you have to visit this place. We had the seared tofu poke bowl, the Thai chil tofu and broccoli and YOU MUST GET THE SOY CHORIZO TACOS I’m not kidding. You will not regret it. Plus you can play board games and be merry. Haha

Pros: Delicious vegan options , Fun environment , Good price

Cons: Offers meat and animal products

Great vegan options

Hearty vegan options to delicious deserts. The setting is very nice too and staff very friendly. They are open later than most places with good vegan options.

Pros: Hearty and filling dishes available.

Cons: They got rid of vegan cheese options.

delicious vegan food & dessert

Had the vegan grilled cheese (mozz, tomato, spinach) and it was so good! They have vegan bakery items (donuts and big cookies) for dessert and they are SO GOOD! They have so many boardgame options as well!

fun place!!

pieces is such a fun place which is great in catering different diets!
went there on a tuesday night with a couchsurfing group and the place was busy! everyone was super friendly and their menu was very professional! vegan & vegetarian items are clearly marked. all their sweets are vegan. they clearly know what vegan means (pointing out that their used chocolate powder isn't vegan when i asked for hot chocolate with almond milk) and are happy to help and make vegetarian dishes vegan: we ordered the nachos and had cheese and salsa on the side to dip it in (which makes it available for any diet) - i was even told that lots of vegans like to eat it with the salsa on top instead of on the side.
i had two donuts (taking one home for breakfast the next day) - the sprinkled one was ok, the chocolate nice and moist. not the vest i've ever had but worth a try. my friends had their cookies and really liked them!!

bring your friends for a fun night out!!

Pros: cool idea, great menu, excellent service

Fun Place

I had a great experience at Pieces. The menu is not huge, but the Midwest Poke Bowl with seared tofu added is very tasty, consisting of marinated sushi rice, sriracha vegan mayo, avocado, and some other veggies. Filling and tasty. Other vegan items include a hummus plate, red pepper and tahini dip, and veggie chili. There are several more items suitable for vegetarians. One plus is the menu is very clearly marked.
Food aside, Pieces is a cool place to hang out, play games, and have a few drinks. It should be noted they get very busy on weekends and that there is a $5/person fee that decreases with every menu item you purchase (if you have an entree and a beer, your fee is only $3). This is annoying, but is there becuase obviously at a gaming cafe/bar, people are apt to just hang out for a long time, and they have a well stocked library of games that you can play for free.
All in all, Pieces is a cool addition to St. Louis and I am thrilled that that they have some tasty veggie options.

Pros: Poke bowl, Board games!

Cons: Long wait times
