I appreciated actually having options! I was in town visiting my father and we dined here because of the vegan menu. I had a dinner salad and vegan spaghetti that were both really good! They even have vegan bread. #Veganuary

We even had a corporate event catered by them and found them to be very accommodating and made a good meal for all the staff. I really appreciate all the vegan options including pizza, pasta, and my kids really liked it there. I wish they had more healthy vegan options though. Just because items are vegan does not mean they are healthy, and whereas I can appreciate pizza and pasta I would like a good healthy organic bowl, etc. my husband is incredibly health conscious and is hard pressed to find something on the lighter side. The vegan soup is good.
Former review: Liked this place and impressed they have a vegan menu but the options are a bit contrived and simple. It was very crowded and a little too pretentious given that it’s in Nixa. I am glad to see the area is making moves towards inclusive or vegan lifestyle but they have a lot of unhealthy items on the menu that are missing the mark on promoting an improved diet and lifestyle in one of the most unhealthy regions of the country.

If you don’t like Teese “cheese” then stay far away. They appeared to have several vegan choices, but only the Pesto Fettuccine was good.

Quite a few amazing vegan options! The vegan pesto fettuccine was incredible! Once I ordered they got me a vegan Caesar salad and came out with vegan bread! Seriously the nicest people and best food highly recommend!

Came here on a Sunday for lunch and had a wonderful visit. The place is clean, comfy, very reasonably priced, service was amazing, and there were lots of vegan options. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious! They have a great patio and are very compliant with COVID restrictions.

Excellent Vegan menu - Edit
I had a fantastic and entirely vegan meal at Piccolos. It was nice to not have to ask a lot of questions and think ahead about what to order. As a tourist just driving through, I’m not familiar with vegan options in this area of Missouri and always a little self conscious trying to piece an order together. I ordered the spicy vegan sausage and peppers, which came with vegan bread and a vegan Caesar salad (with vegan cheese!!!). My non vegan friend really enjoyed her meal here as well. 10/10 would definitely eat again!!

100% recommend this place! We got the vegan pizza with vegan sausage crumbles added, plus vegan mozzarella balls, and a house salad. Ingredients were super fresh and the presentation was too notch. 10/10 will be going back.

Best and only Italian vegan food around! - Edit
Piccolo’s vegan menu is the real deal. Most places try to price gouge us vegans, but not here, I found the pricing to be more than reasonable as their pasta entrees include bread and salad. I tried the lasagna and it was a homerun. Creamy, ‘cheesy’, straightup comfort food. Also tried the mozzarella knots appetizer and they were equally as good. Date night atmosphere was perfect.

The vegan bread comes with an entree and was appreciated (Italian loaf style). Nice romaine salad although the housemade vegan creamy Italian was more of a drowning than an dressing; good flavor, just too much of it. The lasagna was meh. The sauce was too salty, and the pasta was overcooked mushy. Bar tender/waiter was attentive although they were packed and busy on a Wednesday night. I appreciate that they are trying and have a whole vegan menu, just more attention to quality would be appreciated.

We had a lovely meal here. They served complimentary vegan bread. I had the angel hair pasta dish. It was delicious. I also had to try the vegan cheesecake for dessert. Everything was wonderful. We were celebrating my niece’s birthday, and they gave her a complementary dessert and a card signed by the staff. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
