My favourite meal in Agios Nikolaos - Edit
Had my favourite vegan meal whilst in Crete here. I got the Chickpea Crquettes (without crab to make it vegan) and the Orange salad which had a delicious orange vinaigrette and came with candied figs and almonds. The food was incredible and such good quality.

Highlight recommend this restaurant!

Lovely food in beautiful surroundings - Edit
This was the best place I’ve been so far in Agios Nikolaos. Vegan labelled on the menu or some with vegan option available. Although only a few options, the food was lovely and service was great until the restaurant was full then it slowed to a standstill. Still a lovely evening and clearly a popular place. I had the chickpea dip with pitta to start, the chickpea fritters for main (omitted the crab) and vegan chocolate ice cream for dessert.

Great food with excellent service - Edit
First things first: book ahead and arrive on time. They fitted us in after a little wait.
Read moreA few vegan options that were clearly marked plus some adaptations offered by the super friendly and helpful staff.
Stylish and bustling surroundings. Well worth taking the trip slightly out of town.
Pros: Clearly marked vegan options , Staff really accommodating.

Ok for vegetarian not for vegan - Edit
The food has a very high quality, very tasty and creative. However, on the menù there is no indicated the choises for vegan/vegetarian (they indicate the gluten free choises though). If you eat cheese there are plenty of choises (greek salad, eggplant salad...)but if you don't, there is not a lot left, you can order fava ( but ask without ham ) or other dishes withouth cheese but there is nothing though for vegans. An exeption is the vegan chocolate ice cream (very very good) and sorbetto . They serve veil. The service is great they are very nice and professional. The location is very good. The two stars are due to the fact that meet and fish are the main parts on the menu and it is not clear weather a dish is vegan or not.
