We were served dairy - Edit
After listening to the non vegan specials being promoted we ordered the vegan specials that were not discussed. We were then brought the house bread with the sundried tomato dipping sauce. We ate it. Afterwards we asked Carl if it was pepper or tomatoes in the oil. To our suprise CHEESE was an ingredient. After confirmation of cheese with Carl, he laughed at the fact that I was disgusted with the cheese. No apology, no "oh wow, I made a mistake let me fix it" from Carl he simply walked away. Once the meal was delivered I asked if there was hidden cheese in my dish. His response was "no, that one is all vegan". My risotto was over cooked while my husband's pasta was stale. I would suggest avoiding this place and if you do go, be sure to confirm vegan items even after ordering. They have at least made a small effort offering vegan items, but I'm not sure they really care once you are at the establishment.

Dirty and food wasn’t very good - Edit
Everyone who had meals swimming in cream and cheese seemed happy despite the filthy menus, decor, restroom, etc... My vegan pasta primavera was boxed pasta, unpeeled ;literally grey and brown on the outside) bitter pieces of carrot and massive chunks of zucchini and squash that were mostly seeds. There was olive oil on the pasta but I tasted no garlic or other flavors. The loaf of bread was thankfully amazing. The wine wasn’t bad but it was served in a dirty ikea wine glass.

Our "Go To" Place For Special Occasions - Edit
One of the few places for vegan fine dinning in the St. Pete area. Their specials menu always include several creative vegan options and there are two vegan pastas on the main menu. Several other dishes can also be veganized. Tip: opt for the fresh, house-made pasta if you chose a pasta dish, it is really very good. The wine list is also quite extensive.

Best date night in St. Pete - Edit
Pia’s is the place I always go to for a celebratory night or when friends come in from out of town. The restaurant is beautiful with a gorgeous, covered, outdoor area. The owner always makes vegan options for the specials menu and pre-pandemic they usually had vegan desserts and they were some of the best cakes I had in my life.

The best authentic Italian food - Edit
I was so pleasantly surprised to find this gem! It’s one thing for an Italian restaurant to throw some red sauce over pasta and label it vegan but they feature really creative vegan dishes. I was shocked when my meal came sprinkled with nutritional yeast! That’s the first the I’ve ever seen nooch used at a restaurant that isn’t exclusively vegan.

Best vegan dinner I’ve had! - Edit
I had a full vegan dinner at Pia’s and it was AMAZING. I started with this squash and caramelized onion soup that completely blew me away. Then, I had a roasted cauliflower steak served on beet risotto as my entree. And finished with a slice of vegan chocolate cake. Unreal amazing. I can’t wait to go back.

Their specials menu changes every 10 days and with it comes 4-5 amazing and creative vegan options. Excellent service. It’s a fancy but unpretentious atmosphere. The most I’ve ever paid for an entree is $17. Very reasonable. Drinks are pricey. I would give 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pia’s is a beautiful little Italian restaurant that always features a Vegan entree, appetizer, soup, and salad, and sometimes even a vegan dessert. They rotate weekly, with seasonal ingredients.

Pia’s always has delicious vegan options! They have regular menu items that are vegan or can be veganized and they have vegan specials that change every few weeks and that are always amazing. The staff is so nice, helpful and knowledgeable about vegan options - we even chatted with a waitress who is vegan. They have vegan desserts and the chocolate cake we had was unbelievably good. Just let them know you’re vegan and they’ll hook you up. Ohh and if you get bread with your meal, ask for the nutritional yeast/oil dip. This place is our favorite in St Pete!!

There is always a vegan dinner special and it is always amazing, plus several other dishes are marked vegan. The ambiance it wonderful, great patio. It is a little expensive, so we save it for special occasions.

Wonderful vegan options. They don't just add an after thought dish on the menu but include thoughtful, tasty options. There are many vegetarian options as well. Beautiful atmosphere, quaint and casual. I would rate it 5 stars but the app doesn't let you for non-vegetarian restaurants. Will be going back!!
