We finally got to visit this place by attending a āfoodie nightā and was able to sample a few ābites.ā We did purchase the Chronch! Holy cow, it was so freaking good that I wouldāve bought more and happily ate them all by my self. š I wish I wouldāve had a second spicy watermelon Margarita! It was very well made. And Iām still dreaming about the buttery, creamy Smashed Potatoes Bravos. š¤¤ I am looking forward to going back to try more of their menu items, because sadly, I learned the crunch is not a main menu item but a summer item.

We loved our meal here. I just felt bad that the service was so slow - they were totally understaffed & it was super busy!!! Everyone was so nice & the food was phenomenal! So no complaints!

The food is incredibly fresh and delicious! The staff are super nice and genuinely excited about the food theyāre serving. Theyāre really accommodating as well. Desserts are out of this world too!! I havenāt had a stellar vegan dessert that isnāt ice cream or a pastry for a very long time and was so excited about their options.

We went to Pianta to celebrate our vegan sonās graduation he also has a tree nut allergy, so we loved that everything that is nut free is clearly marked. The food was so tasty and the staff was super friendly and passionate about the plant based/sustainable life style. The smashed potato, and strawberry habanero bbq āchicken ādipper small plates were delicious. We all loved our entrĆ©es. This restaurant shows how delicious plant based food can be. Bring your non vegan friends and family, they will be converted!

Tried this place for the 1st time Thursday 5/26/22. OMG, it was so freaking good!!!!!!! Where do I begin?! I went with my daughter & we wanted to split everything to try stuff. We started with 2 apps- smashed potatoes w/ lemon garlic aioli that were really super yummy and the crispy Brussels sprouts with maple sriracha aioli. When I say these Brussels are delicious, I'm not exaggerating. I was leery cuz I'm not a sriracha fan but trust me when I say these are culinary perfection! Both apps are GF, SF & NF. We we both blown away at the flavor and could've just happily eaten these 2 apps which were good portions and quite filling. As entrees we got the hummus wrap also SF,NF and I got it with a GF wrap. It comes with french fries or salad

The other entree was the creamy pesto gnocchi NF, SF and normally available GF but they were out of GF gnocchi. We got it anyway as we're not allergic and just try to avoid gluten cuz it's not great for you. Anyway, another delicious meal. It's the kind of food that's so good you just keep eating it even if you're full cuz it's so freaking delicious! My daughter got a lemonade with rosemary that she enjoyed. I tasted it. Very refreshing but too sweet for me. I stick with water. The server was lovely, friendly and efficient. They offer inside/outside dining. More tables inside than out. Not too many outside. It's a cute place. Neither of us used the restroom so I can't speak to handicapped accessibility for that if that applies to you. Overall, I have nothing but rave reviews for this place for everything we ordered and service! Go if you haven't! I can't wait to go back and try other dishes!

Vegan Gem!! - Edit
May 2022 - Great news. Pianta has now opened a full service sit down fully vegan restaurant. Weāve been twice. The food is creative, unique and fantastic!! Theyāre located in the Federal Hill section of Providence. Iāll be returning until Iāve tried everything on the menu. Fantastic addition to vegan eating.

We are so happy Pianta opened up a physical location. The food is truly delicious and very thoughtful. We've tried most of the menu and nothing has ever disappointed. Been vegan for 5 years and this is probably my favorite restaurant!

PiANTA is the best vegan restaurant in Providence. The food is blow your mind amazing. PiANTA masterfully serves innovative vegan takes on traditional recipes. Everything has been outstanding. From the vegan buffalo chicken wraps to the Italian pastas, this restaurant is top-notch. I have been vegan for most of my life and it's rare for me to get excited about a vegan restaurant nowadays... but I'm so excited about PiANTA! It is truly next-level. The new sit-down location on Federal Hill is a very welcome addition to the neighborhood! Can't wait to go back. PS: The steak and cheese egg rolls are to die for.

Iāve tried MANY items since theyāve openedā¦standouts - steak and cheese eggrolls, loaded Italian, chicken caesar wrap, and pesto grilled cheese. I hope they open a sit down restaurant at some point, but Iām in no rush to eat inside right now!

Women owned, all vegan, all delicious! - Edit
So happy I was finally able to come by for take out. My Omni boyfriend & I ordered quite a handful of things and we were BLOWN AWAY. The Caesar salad with chicken was delicious! Corn fritters & egg rolls were insane. The dipping sauces, texture, crunch.. unreal. My bf also enjoyed the potato salad, Italian sub, and the smashed potatoes.

This restaurant has already become one of our favorites in the short time itās been open! Its Italian roots really make it special in the vegan community, bringing classic pastas, subs and desserts back into my life as a vegan with the same flavor and even MORE delight than the traditional meat/dairy versions.
