Not a fan - Edit
I used to love this place and order all the time when they were takeout only. We live pretty far away and would get take out and the order was always missing things but the food was good so we dealt with it. I’ve waited a year to order again because they messed up a huge order so badly I was done- I really wanted the chicken dinner tonight and we placed a large order and of course the chicken dinner and Brussels were missing and no one answers the phone!!! Not only that but the rest of the food was terrible, the corn bread tasted like baking soda, the Mac n cheese was just oily and the meatballs were so salty and tasted like beyond that they were inedible… totally disappointed

We loved what we had so much that we returned with friends and ordered the same things again! We were not disappointed, and our non-veg friend was equally impressed.

Good not great - Edit
Feel like I'm going against the grain here, but I was not impressed. The food was food, sure, and it was vegan, so that's nice. But aside from the elote everything we tried was just... fine.

Absolute Must - Edit
As somebody born and raised in Texas, I had to evaluate their country fried steak and I must say it was phenomenal. It was very crispy, the mashed potatoes were delicious and buttery, and the cornbread was perfect. I loved the touch of fruit spread added into the butter. My girlfriend had the vodka penne which she very much enjoyed. We shared a dessert, which was also amazing. Pricey, but very much worthwhile. Parking could easily be a challenge, but lucked out on a side street.

Our second meal here. Excellent again! - Edit
I had the Shawarma Plate, which was excellent. I liked everything on the plate - the tomato and cuke salad, the "chicken," the hummus, the garlic sauce, and the pita. The pita, which is often a plain-Jane stock item, was noticeably soft, fresh, & delicious. My wife had the Peach & Heirloom Tomato Salad and enjoyed every bite. We each had a glass of chardonnay. I don't remember what vineyard it was from, but it was better than most I've had.

All the dishes sound really interesting here, I wanna go back and try them all! Thanksgiving egg rolls were a lot, very heavy, but so good. The grilled egg and cheese with home fries was my favorite.

Pianta is such a wonderful place to go. The staff is excellent and you can tell they really enjoy being there. The atmosphere is positive, bright and welcoming. Michelle is incredibly talented and creates beautiful delicious seasonal dishes. In the cocktail menu carries over the creativity and quality.

BEST DINNER EVER (NYE) - Edit
I’ve been to brunch here several times (which deserves its own separate post bc just wow) but this was my first dinner here. We split the steak and cheese egg rolls. I got the filet mignon with cauliflower mash and roasted potatoes. Let me tell you it was WORTH the $36. I couldn’t believe how good it was. Then for dessert they had an Oreo fudge brownie special. My nonvegan friend and I agreed it was the best brownie either of us had ever had. I wish it was a permanent item! If you haven’t had dinner here yet, do yourself a favor and go! They are 100% vegan and everyone there is extremely friendly and accommodating. 15/10 #Veganuary

We loved everything we had and will definitely return, especially since the “egg” rolls were not available when we were there. We loved the selections of both comfort foods as well as healthy foods.

Really tasty vegan junk food. My favorite are the steak and cheese egg rolls. They also added an Italian sub that is the closest to the real thing I have had yet.

Just delightful! - Edit
My husband and I chose this spot for our anniversary dinner, and I am SO glad we did! I've been vegan for 15 years, and this was one of the best meals I've had. The hot honey and prosciutto flatbread was outstanding, the shawarma plate was fresh, and the country chicken plate was just the ultimate comfort food. The beetroot hummus that accompanied the shawarma plate was so good in fact, we asked to bring a container home.

Fabulous meal and terrific service - Edit
My husband and I went to Pianta for an early dinner. We shared the Mexican street corn for an appetizer and it was delicious. We each had the special of the day which was penne with a cream sauce, peas and pesto. It was beautifully presented and the taste was a 10 out of 10. We also indulged in the lemon desert and it reminded me of the lemon pie my grandmother used to make. Our server was attentive and friendly and the host was a ray of sunshine. It is such a treat to be able to have soup to nuts without worrying about ingredients not being vegan. We’ll definitely be back

Father’s Day Brunch - Edit
I’ve eaten Pianta’s food at Veg Fest, but this was my first time at the restaurant. My family of 4 went for Father’s Day brunch. We each got a different dish and shared. I got the Frittata, my wife got the Chilaquiles, and my boys got the Maple Sausage Breakfast Pizza, and the Turtle Waffle. For drinks, we got Passionfruit Thai Iced Teas and a Dirty Chai Latte. Everything was amazing, and had so much flavor! My family (who are not vegan) absolutely loved the food. When I go back, I will get the Breakfast Pizza (not to share!).
