Vegan piadina

It's a "piadineria" (they serve Italian flatbread filled with cheese, meat etc..) inside the food court of the Adriatico mall along the A4 freeway. It's a very convenient as you can either grab and go or have a seat in the air-conditioned food court tables.
They have a dedicated Vegan section on the menù with 5 options and a VeganOK-certified cereal dough.
The traditional Italian dough for piadina would contain lard, however at La Caveja they use vegetable margarine instead in all their bread options. They cannot be labeled vegan as they contain honey, which is replaced by brown sugar in the VeganOK-certified 8-ceral option.

In all their flatbread/dough options lard (as in the traditional recipe) is substituted with veg margarine, but they do contain honey. Luckily, there is one 8-cereal VeganOK-certif at Piadineria La Caveja in Portogruaro
