The staff is incredibly unfriendly, unfortunately. Their v pho tastes so much like fish, I could swear they use the same utensils as they do for the meat. I was scoffed at when I asked if I can return it. Luckily they didn’t charge me for it. Others have had better experience than me, so approach if you really want to taste
Very disappointed.
Only 1 vegan option... Pho
Tempura is not vegan because it's fried in the same oil as animal items.
No salad or any other options for vegans.
I've been here at least 5 times now and I'm honestly still a little suspicious that the vegan broth they're giving me is actually beef broth because it's so delicious and full of flavor! (I've had meat-eating friends confirm that it does in fact taste different though lol) The vegan broth veggie tofu is reasonably priced for the large serving they give you with a big variety of veggies, and I always make sure to ask for them to make the tofu crispy too and it's not an issue 👌🏼 make sure to try the spring rolls too, they're super yummy!
This place was pretty good, although I think they need to work on their broth flavor for the vegan broth. It honestly tasted like water. Now I know how traditional broth is made but if your going to advertise a vegan option, there is tons of ways you can make that broth flavorful. They do have almond milk to make their teas which I thought was nice. The restroom was clean and so was the dining area. The services could be better especially since they are offering vegan options. It felt like it was an inconvenience to ask about there options.
The eggs-rolls were very tasty and they had a veggie or meat options . Not a bad spot just think they had a few things that they could work on.
I grew up in an asian bubble where there was Vietnamese food on every corner, and I never liked pho very much.
One day I got sick and decided to try this place out because I wanted some soup and there isn’t many good options in Whittier so I opted for vegan pho.
Now I had no expectations going into this, but was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful their vegan pho was. Their portions are decent for the price you’re paying and I’m not sure how they did it but their pho is the only pho I enjoy eating.
