Delicious

Authentic vietnamese food,
Plenty of choices in the "vegetarian plates" menu, even with mock meat .
Reservation highly recommended, full on weekends

Lifesaver Vietnamese vegan option for a post-FOSDEM dinner

As a small group starved for vegan options at dinner after FOSDEM when all restaurants were either full or non-vegan, we were very lucky to find Pho Diem Xuan!

I scarcely believed how good our chosen dishes were. Thanks to our French-speaking friend we ensured all the ingredients and sauces were vegan, so I'm rather confident that the dish in the picture was not just delicious but also completely vegan.

I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in the ULB area. It's often impossible to find any vegan options at all here, let alone such delicious ones.

Pros: Lovely staff, Tasty, well executed vegan options, Near the university: about 800 m from ULB Solbosch

Cons: Be prepared to speak French, Vegan options may not be clearly marked, We had to pay cash
