Always a pleasure - Edit

For northern Virginia this place is an excellent option for vegans. In addition to the very tasty pho and summer rolls, they have lemongrass tofu and will veganise pretty much anything on the menu. They do a lovely soy-based sauce as an alternative to fish sauce, not listed on the menu.

Delicious vegqn options - Edit

I was very happy to discover Pho Bowl while I was on vacation in the Alexandria area. It is an attractive family owned restaurant with very friendly service in a small shopping mall with lots of parking not far from downtown. There were several vegan options on the menu. I ordered a tofu Summer Roll with a delicious peanut sauce, and a small Pho with veggies (broccoli, bean sprouts), a very tasty and not too salty veggie broth and tofu. For dessert I had mochi with slices of mango. It was all tasty and very reasonably priced. I would go back again in an instant & wish they had a place like this in my town.

Pros: Excellent food, Excellent value, Extremely friendly staff
